I had the absolute best chicken dinner of my life at 1889 Missoula. Yes, I ordered chicken at a steakhouse.... I don't regret it. The dish was perfectly executed and exactly as described: Roasted Local Chicken with a crispy skin airliner, herbed fontina dumplings, roasted mushrooms, spring vegetables, and a savory chicken jus.
