Starbucks in Missoula

“They were great. I stopped in early in the morning (just after opening) on my way out of town, during my cross country trip. My order was made quickly and the barista was delightful. Thank you for making the last day of driving get off to a great start.“

“I’ve stopped at this Starbucks on Brooks Street many times while traveling between Idaho and Wyoming. It’s become one of my regular road-trip stops because the location is convenient, there’s a drive-through, and gas and other services are nearby.

As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series novels, I travel extensively researching the real places that inspire my stories. That means I spend a lot of time on the road, and dependable coffee stops like this one become surprisingly useful.

There are two entrances into the store. Coming through the main entrance, the merchandise is on the right, the ordering counter is straight ahead, and most of the seating is to the left. There are several high-top tables along with standard tables, so there’s enough seating to stop and spend some time rather than simply grabbing a drink.

The second entrance is near the pickup area and the outdoor patio. There are several tables outside, and when the Montana weather is nice, people definitely take advantage of them.

The parking lot can get busy because this is a popular location, but having the drive-through gives you another option when you’re trying to get back on the road quickly.

As a romance novelist, I’m traveling and working in many of the same places, so a comfortable coffee shop is always useful whether I’m writing, planning the next stop, or just taking a break from driving.

The staff has always been nice, and after stopping here numerous times, it’s become one of those dependable places I know along the route.“

“I stop by about 2-3 times a week, for about a year and half for coffee and breakfast. The employee (Monique) that helps me almost every time, is usually alone for the morning rush. She has never complained about it. She does appear to be extremely busy with huge lines and I can’t imagine trying to juggle all of it alone.
Again, no problems with the service directly nor the actual food/coffee. Maybe just hire additional consistent staff to support her.“

“I gave Starbucks a bad review based on information from a very well educated friend only to find out the information was wrong. Don't do as I did. Investigate for yourself. I made myself look ignorant because of my post. I now apologize and went to Starbucks to buy coffee and support them. They do support our veterans. May Almighty God bless us all.“
