I had written this restaurant off several years ago, but with thier limited time for the New Orleans menu I decided to try again. Nope, sorry but between being served very raw burgers in the past and being re made the same way when we showed them....it hasn't changed for quality. Did the owners just give up? We haven't been to Applebee's for several years. The restaurant is filthy, from the booths to the table and chairs. Not to mention the floors, carpet and windows. Our server was nice, yet we waited quite awhile on her. The food was meh.

We haven't eaten at the Missoula Applebee's for years because of a bad experience. We got a gift card for there s decided to give it another try. It was such a disappointment! To start off with we stood and waited at least 5 minutes to be seated. There was no one hostessing. People were lining up and there was no one around. First impression was the place looked dirty, front door, hostess area, and there were at least 10 tables that needed to be bussed. We were finally seated, looked over the menu and ordered. We got the Lime Chicken and Chicken Tender meal. Our salads came and we had no silverware. Our waiter went to get some and never came back. I finally went to the bar and asked for some. Finally, when we were almost done with our salads, he asked us where we got our silverware? He said that he had been waiting for some because they didn't have any clean silverware! Really? I told him I got tired of waiting and went to the bar. He then brought out our meal. The Chicken Tender dinner was cold and the fries were hard, dry and cold. My Lime Chicken tasted like it was a TV dinner. It was gross! The rice tasted like a box mix. Our whole experience was so disappointing....what a joke! Our waiter never asked us how our meal was or if we needed anything. Thru our whole meal tables were not bussed until we were almost done. A girl came out and moved all the dirty dishes from several tables onto one table. Then some guy came out and started to carry armloads of dishes into the back. All I could see was poor management and lack of proper training in this establishment. We have eaten at the one in Great Falls, MT and it was pretty nice. The Missoula location should close its doors or get a new manager! Never go back!

Hostess didn’t say hello and was rude. Server wasn’t blatantly rude but barely did the minimum and seemed annoyed. I get we all have our bad days (I certainly did as a hostess and server - and I worked for Applebee’s! lol). Food was alright. Not very fresh tasting but not terrible. The staff overall seemed burnt out or indifferent or both, but it wasn’t busy at all, so that was confusing. Booth was filthy. Discarded cherry stems in the windowsill. Sticky top, food on the seats. Had to ask for plates/silverware, water, etc. Thanked everyone I came in contact with and they truly just acted put out. It was so strange. I don’t need over the top service, but a touch of friendliness would have gone a long way. I would have been written up as a hostess and server had I treated people like that, like they were an inconvenience. I won’t be back. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

This is hands down the worst Applebees I have ever been to. Do not go to this Applebees and DO NOT get the fish and chips. It was so soggy that I could push a soggy, non crispy fry through it like a spear. Thankfully they didn’t charge me for it. The service was hands down 5 stars though. Other than that the food was terrible and it was definitely out dated. They need to get a new cook, that’s for sure.

The place us dirty with fries and napkins on the floor under the tables. We ordered a couple of their speciality beverages and they were awful. We couldn't even drink them. We won't be back for awhile.
