I was really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a croissant expecting the usual light, flaky texture, but what I got was more like a dense loaf of bread. If you’re after a traditional French-style croissant, this might not be the best spot. Additionally, I ordered two slices of pumpkin bread, but they forgot to include them. Unfortunately, both times I’ve visited, the staff seemed visibly unhappy or stressed, which affected the overall atmosphere.

Choc cookie is very good, quiche was excellent but the chocolate cupcake was disappointing. Icing was good but over the top too much and the cupcake part was just blah, flavorless.

This place has the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted in my life. However, I’m giving three stars because I ordered a cake for my girlfriend’s birthday, and it didn’t meet the same high expectations as the cupcakes. Unfortunately, the cake was very dry and a bit too salty. I’m not sure if it was a one-time issue or a difference in the baker, but it wasn’t as enjoyable. You guys are great, and I hope you see this feedback to help fine-tune the recipe.

Bernice’s Bakery did our wedding cake and we had guests raving about how good the cake was. Genuinely stunning and delicious. The cake tasting was also a highlight of our wedding planning journey as you get a fun little to go box that you can mix and match flavors. Overall we really enjoyed our wedding cake and would recommend them to other people.

I have a theory that the nicest people in the world are in Missoula and this bakery backs that up! I placed an order for a birthday cake on the phone - and it was handled so professionally, patiently and by someone so upbeat! When we picked up the cake - quick customer service with a smile. The cake was great and the salted caramel buttercream frosting was unique and delightful. Thanks for putting a smile on my son and my sister's face for their shared birthday. And just wanted to make sure that this review reflects how far good customer service goes. Thanks guys!

I had such high hopes for this place and it let me down on all levels. I keep seeing this place on all the must try lists, so of course we had to make our own decision. I was so excited to try their food and pastries. The sandwich was not bad, very small but for $4 you get what you pay for. The Arnold Palmer with the fruity black tea was the best thing we had.
But the bakery was a huge disappointment. The cookies were rock hard and our day old danish was so dense I couldn't even tear it apart. I really wanted to like this place too ?
We would return for the coffee/drinks but we’ll skip the pastries.

I really like the atmosphere and the servers are really kind and caring. You can really tell they live their job and want to be there. Cheers to an excellent little local bakery!!!
