My husband and I have been enjoying going to Bernice’s on the weekend, usually Sunday’s. We keep coming back because we receive good service and excellent coffee. However, this last experience was bad enough that I feel compelled to say something. We first greeted with “who’s next?” From the gal at the cash register. Her tone was not friendly. We submitted our orders - 2 Lattes. We cleaned our table and sat down. The wait was long, but finally, our order showed up. The wait was long and my husband’s latte was extremely bitter. I went to purchase him another, to make up for the burned one. My experience with coffee tells me the shot sat too long. However, when the second one arrived, the individual dropped it next to the untouched, burned latte, and didn’t acknowledge it. Sadly, the second latte was just as bitter. Oddly, mine was very good, as it usually is. In my experience of enjoying Bernice’s Bakery, this is an isolated experience. I am hoping this review will be used for teaching.

An employee has scoffed at me the last few times I’ve been in. She waits until I hit the tip option when paying, flips the machine back toward her so she can see it, glares at me, and just walks off. For the record, I consistently tip 20%. In fact, I’ve never not tipped, even when service has been rushed. Apparently 20% isn’t acceptable anymore. Thanks for treating me like garbage. It’s nice to know that my business isn’t wanted.

Husband surprised me with a BEAUTIFUL camels spit cake for my bday. What a treat! I’m not big on sweets but this was the best cake I’ve ever had- quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. Thank you!

I am just now getting around to make a review-- apologize for the delay. You all were absolute rock stars with our wedding desserts. Everyone loved the cream puffs and handheld cherry pies! Thank you so much for making everything so delicious and memorable.
The only issue is that their to-go coffee lids are loose and will spill coffee on my hands. I tried filling it up less but still, coffee leaks out from the lid whenever I get a 16 oz to go. I know the lids are designed to be used for up to 20 oz cups so maybe that’s the reason.. or the heat from the kitchen makes the plastic expand… anyway, I felt compelled to share this because I love the coffee but prefer it to stay inside the cup. Cheers.

I have enjoyed Bernice's Bakery my whole life, so when I got my last sugar cookie it was pretty disappointing. I understand the price going up with the costof eggs and everything, but to reduce the size so much it changes the flavor on top of that is stingy. The cookies are now, including the frosting, just a little thicker than two quarters. I weigh out my food to count my calories, this is a common treat I have it memorized. Usually I eat half at a time, now I can have a little more than 3/4th. As a comunity, we shouldn't behave like the big corporations. I would gladly pay a little more, but pick one or the other. This cookie tastes like flour, (so it won't break being so thin I'm sure) it's just not the same. Why not make them the same as before, sell them for $4?? It would be terrible to lose the last nice sugar cookies. I send these to people as a fancy gift, people expect them.

i was in missoula and looking for something healthy and online reviews said to check out Bernice’s so I did.
I went with colleagues and one got the soup and i got the hummus plate. the soup was cold and tasted more like a gazpacho or salsa and the hummus plate had hummus, chips and a macaroni salad. the prices for the meals was very good as it was cost effective and the portion size decent. the flavor was average
good price, decent portion, mild flavor
