As a longtime customer I was very disappointed with the wait staff during my last visit. I stopped by on February 28th for lunch and ended up walking out of the restaurant after sitting for over 10 minutes without any water or menus. This was around 3 and there was only one other table in the entire restaurant. My waitress was well aware that we had been sitting there without menus since she’s the one who told me to sit wherever. After about 10 minutes another waitress went up to her and asked if she was going to take care of our table. She said yes, but then proceeded to talk about her tattoos and dogs with the third waitress at the restaurant.I have been a customer of Bigga for over a decade and have never received such bad service. My friend and I ended up walking out and having lunch at next door.

If pizza were a controlled substance, Bigger Pizza in Missoula would be illegal in at least 12 states. We ordered a four cheese pizza and a mushroom, sausage, and pepperoni masterpiece, and I’m pretty sure both of them changed me as a person. The four cheese was a molten, unapologetic cheese festival — rich, gooey, and clearly not here to support anyone’s fitness goals. Every bite felt like it was whispering, “You deserve this.” The mushroom/sausage/pepperoni combo? Absolute savage. Perfect balance of savory, meaty, and “why don’t all pizzas taste this good?” Crust had the right chew, toppings weren’t shy, and nothing tasted like it came from a freezer or a place that hates joy. This is the kind of pizza that makes you rethink sharing. 10/10. Would order again. Would cancel plans for it. Would defend it in court if necessary.

I only get the (financial) opportunity to order from Biga once or twice a year so really look forward to my spinach mushroom calzone, or sometimes the pesto pine nut. I was, and still am so proud of them for closing on Friday for a good cause and decided to order on Monday to show my support (and because I was craving one of their calzones). The calzone seems to be Mostly bread this time round and is markedly smaller than I remember, also a couple dollars more though that part is understandable. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't what it usually is. I was disappointed. Sorry Biga.
