I ordered a Birthday cake for my wife! Next day we picked up the cake and brought it home. Later that evening we started the birthday and we sang happy birthday song. Everyone was happy until we started to cut the cake and it was not the cake we ordered. We ordered a vanilla lemon cake with double raspberries filling and we got a very dry plain cake with big chunks of green strawberries. I was very shocked and I was feeling very bad for my wife birthday and very disappointed.
None of us eat it. Called next day to let them know and talked to the owner and he told me to talk to the person who makes the cakes I thought that was weird. Well I talked to the person who makes cakes and she told me she will talk the owner to make it up to my wife with a gift card or something. The owner offered me $10 a slap in the face for a cake that I paid $40 but it was not about the money I just want them to at least apologise to her. $10 it was very embracing so I told him to not even bother. I am very disappointed a cheap owner who cares about the money and not his customers. I will make sure that anyone I talk to knows about his business.
I will add the picture of that plain dispointing cake soon.
I ordered the white Chardonnay with lemon huckleberry filling from Vancouver Washington for a surprise 75th birthday party for my mom in Lolo Montana. It was a very easy process & Cat was great to work with, but most of all the cake was absolutely amazing!! In fact one of my relatives said he is not a lemon fan at all but this cake was fantastic! Thank you cat!!

Outstanding baked goods. German chocolate muffin and lemon Chardonnay roll were amazing. The drip coffee was excellent and the espresso drinks also lovely. The veggie sandwich was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I have been eating Black Cat baked goods since Jack was at the Farmers Market. His food has been consistently delicious since he arrived in Missoula. I am never disappointed.

I have always loved this place but I live pretty far away. So, daily visits are a bit far for me, but if you live near this place, you should check it out often. They always have different items and actually some gf also. Always yummy, which isn't always easy when it's gf. ? Also, now they have some small tables so you can eat there, and it sounds like their breakfast menu is pretty good. I say "sounds like" because they were all sold out by 11:00ish. I heard their biscuits and gravy are really good. Also, I heard from a friend that the jalapeño cheddar, cathead biscuits are really, really good. I'm gonna make it a mission to get in early and try said items. Nothing I've had all these years has been bad, so I super hopeful. ? ? ? ? ? ?
We were on the hunt for a good donut and we found it! So many options makes it hard to choose but whatever you choose it is probably yummy. We went with the danish, some sort of sweet roll and the red velvet cupcake. The danish was our least favorite but still really good and worth trying. The red velvet was sweet and moist. But the sweet roll is where it’s at. We are definitely grabbing two of those sticky ones next time.

I use to buy from them for atleast 4 years straight many times a year, today on my 26th birthday simple mistake: huckleberries were added. But I will not eat huckleberries but my guest will. While I made a phone call my guests were already digging into the cake. Not knowing what the refund was they where already eating it before they returned the call about how the refund works. They said I would have the whole cake to even get a refund, here I am holding back tears in front of my guests, trying to celebrate my day.I’ll never order from here again. What I wanted vs what I got

The only reason I gave it a 4, is because we walked out with a bag of 6 count savory asiago dinner rolls. Yet in the cases were the most aromatic and well presented baked goodies. Muffins, scones, cakes, pastries, macarons, and danishes. Plus today they had a chai latte, which smells so fragrant.I will gladly turn it into a 5, when I get to all the other amazing delectables.High marks got the atmosphere and staff.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options. Vegetarian. Options for sweet and savory palettes.

I bought a dozen doughnuts to share with my coworkwers. My coworkwers practically ran when I told them they were from Black Cat Bakery. I may have even overheard a fight over which doughnuts they wanted. I had the red velvet. It was soooo delicious. They were so fresh and still warm from the oven.Thank you guys for making such tasty treats!!!

We stopped here during graduation football playoff weekend and were absolutely satisfied with the fabulous food and wonderful service. If you're in Bozeman get over to Black Cat Bakery for coffee and the best better goods. If you're lucky, they'll have some stollen available. If it is. Try it. It's rare to find here but worth it. We loved Black Cat and will stop again next time in Bozeman.
