Unfortunately a person named Matt who shows this location as his employer gave me a permanent head injury

Nice people and really, really sour espresso.

if you like a late with lots of sugary syrup/flavor it will be fine and you wont even notice the taste of the espresso. However, if you actually like espresso - it is pretty bad. I am guessing they use the wrong beans or grind.... but it is really sour.

I have discussed with them once or twice - but management does not seem interested in changing or improving.

Never been there, but I just tried their instant organic coffee!!! I bought it at a local store in Oregon. Wow!!!! I mean how did they get instant so smooth? I bought this box of packets months ago and was hesitant to try it because I thought it would be like all the others. You know? Where you tolerate them on a trip because you can’t get organic everywhere. But no!!! I’m going to their website right now to order packets for travel and home and just because they make life simpler with no guilt! ❤️

This Black Roasting Coffee Co has a high local rating, but the service is understaffed, coffee is good, and bagged beans are overpriced at $25 with old fresh dates. Not recommended for gifts unless you're okay with paying airport inflated prices for locally available products at one-third of the cost in town. The $35 plastic tumblers are especially disappointing and I couldn’t imagine anyone buying these. What a shame. I’ll be skipping this on all future flights except for a cup of hot coffee.

Compact place to get an early hot drink while gazing on those tempting merchandise sold there.

I can see why the line was out of the door and well worth the wait (I usually won’t wait in line & go to a different place). Conveniently located across from our hotel, the AC Missoula (in town for a wedding). The prosciutto toast on organic grist bread is a heavenly combination. Their matcha latte was perfectly balanced. Also - just wondering what the latte art was meant to be ?. Coming back tomorrow for breakfast before we leave town. Great place - don’t miss!

Line for coffee was long. Busy time at airport and one SLOW person was making marginal coffee while two people took orders.

Coffee was very good for typical airport coffee options.

Coffee was good naturally being from Black Coffee Roasting. The girl working was kind and helpful but she was very unfamiliar with BCR coffees, didn’t know what line of coffee they were brewing when I asked ?

My wife and i loved this place. Somewhat busy and a "little hip" for a Friday morning in Montana but the beans did not dissapoint. We had a wonderful morning river walk with a stop at this local coffee roasters. I judge most places by pure black drip coffee or by how they make a mocha. I had a mocha this morning and it was great. Great foam art on top, mocha was a perfect blend of espresso and chocolate with just a hint sweetness. Honestly best mocha I've had in Montana.

We always try to seek out a local coffee shop when visiting a new town. We pulled up in front of Black Coffee mid-morning and the line of people were out the door. Since we weren't in a rush, we decided it was a good sign and waited out turn. We're in our 50s, and there were college kids all the way to seniors waiting. It was a fun vibe. Our Americanos didn't disappoint, and I liked that they feature a couple of their beans each day. The highlight was my chocolate croissant WOW so yummy! We loved this coffee place so much we stopped again before we headed home a few days later.
