An essential Missoula meet up hub that is cozy, productive, and uplifting.

Get it together! Please! It’s painful watching one person behind the counter doing everything. Making coffee, plating food, running the register with a LONG line. 10/19/24 we just walked out. We’ve been in that line enough. It is not unusual for there to be only one person on.

Prompt service, friendly.
Decaf coffee drinker here. Experiencing a knockout decaffeinated bean/roaster and Americano can be rare experiences, as was my experience at Break. Service? Super nice.

Overall just disappointed. Coffee wasn’t good, didn’t have the flavor I asked for. Baristas were rude, and baked goods were dry and flavorless. Overpriced for what I got.
Apple cider is the best!!!

I stopped in Missoula from Castle Rock, Colorado, and found this awesome coffee/cyber cafe in the downtown historic district. AWESOME! The atmosphere is comfortably relaxing with an old rustic feel that gives you the sense that you are in a historic place with decades of energy stored in its walls and wooden floor. The hospitality is spot on, and the culture is exactly what you would expect from an independently owned establishment dead set on preserving that homegrown spirit. Thank you. I hope your establishment enjoys the ton of support you deserve and that you are here for many years to come.
Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is definitely all-encompassing, but this is a coffee shop. Perhaps the kids would love a glass of decaffeinated green tea with pastries. ?
Wheelchair accessibility: This establishment has a double door entry at the sidewalk level with plenty of space to move around in. All of the wooden tables and chairs are comfortably spaced with room for even the larger wheelchairs.

Great coffee and good food in a funky Missoula building. Very popular on Saturday market days, but the baristas move the line along.

Pictured is a white chocolate mocha. Very calm, comfortable, and inviting atmosphere. Lots of space with a variety of places to sit. It makes you want to stay awhile. They care about the community and value sustainability. The bakery looks incredible.

I am a fan of Break for a place to come and get some work done and to talk to super friendly staff, but I leave 3 stars because it is ridiculously overpriced, both drinks and pastries. Iced tea and juice poured out of a bottle bought at the store should not cost $4-5.
