It's comfortable and interesting but not pretentious. If you can sit at the bar do so cuz you can watch the pizza makers (they also put the salads together) do their work. They toss those pizza rounds nine feet plus.
Request Corrynn as your server. Good drink and food navigator.
Lots of local fauna, so you know it's a local spot. Many have the stank of former Californians but give Grace. We're all strangers in a strange Land.
Bon appetit!!!

The food was unbelievable, best Italian you could imagine in Montana, the building is beautiful with Italian art on the wall and corks lining the window, they offer bread for free at the start, topped with Parmesan and cooked to perfection.
Really good lasagna. Had to wait a bit, since it was busy.
Its fine , if you're really hungry and would prefer blowing money on way overpriced faux Italian food than literally setting your hard earned pesos on fire. Like most Missoula eateries its grossly overpriced and way to crowded. The tiny dining area is about as big as the incredibly disinterested front of house employee's ambition. Which is to say ambivalent at best. Cannot recommend.
Always so tasty!
Our party had meatballs, carbonara, and lasagne. All entrees were very tasty, the portions were large, and the wait staff were attentive and prompt. The complimentary garlic bread seemed a bit less powerfully garlicky than I remember from my last visit, but that might be for the best.
The food here is simply amazing. This Pollo Con Formaggio is my favorite Italian dinner in the whole world. Tender chicken cutlets in marinara. My vote for best food in Missoula.
Everything is fresh and delicious. The bread is excellent. A couple suggestions: A little less sauce in the primavera. Ingredients were drowned in the sauce. On the pizza, the crust was perfection but the cheese wasn’t melted all the way. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. Servers are friendly and attentive.
I'm just gonna dive in here... i took my wife here for our 26th anniversary, the atmosphere was chill, but the food is way over priced for what it actually is, an immediate turn off. The seasonings that make up a great Italian dish we're severely lacking, if I have to use the salt shaker and the pepper shaker multiple times to get a "flavor" it's not seasoned correctly, all was very bland. Noodles are extra? don't come with my dish? wth I have to add it on? no fresh parmason cheese? only a shaker? mama mia i could go on but... the complimenty bread was delicious! and the service was very unorganized and amateur, not bad but not great, it was a neat experience but I'd rather eat somewhere else next time, thanks

If you like loud, then go there. The food is hot and delicious, but atmosphere lacks relaxation. We've gone there for years, but won't go back. The city needs to enforce the sound level ordinance.

Sadly I hate to leave this for so many reasons. We have always sat right at the bar to watch the cooks which is cool- however....
Watching them and for the $$$ you pay here they are using trash ingredients and charging premium prices. Hersheys syrup instead of any kind of real chocolate, olive oil from Sysco (texas). Been here several times and now the excitement for me is kinda gone knowing the quality isn't there. Last night I ordered the lasagna and it came and was ungodly salty. Even my husband tried it and had to spit it out and he loves salty foods. The waitress came back and said we'll we talked to the manager and noone else is complaining about it tonight(watched Noone else order lasagna) remember our seats. Then she comes back and says I must have a Parmigiano sensitivity, then it's on we can give you a dessert instead of a comp. (Dessert is less than half the cost $10 vs $28) the overall experience wasn't there for us. Lacking accountability, crap ingredients for premium prices, probably won't go again Sadly. I'll go to Abruzzos where atleast we know what were getting there.

We have never had a bad meal here. Service is something other restaurants should model. The atmosphere is great. This is in my top 3 favorite restaurants and Missoulas, my favorite location between Missoula, Whitefish, and Billings! Keep up the great work, Cioa Mambo team.
