Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We got there and were seated promptly. The waiter asked us if we wanted drinks and we asked for coffee. That was the last we saw of our waiter for almost 20 minutes. I finally went to another waitress and told her I thought ours went on break or something and could we please get coffee. A few minutes later, our original waiter came with coffee and took our breakfast order. The food was delivered by yet another waitress in a reasonable amount of time. I should mention here, the restaurant was not busy at all. Several waitresses and 1 waiter and only about 8 tables had guests. Anyway, the food itself was not good at all. A very disappointing breakfast experience for sure. I only gave a 2 star because I still like their gift shops😁

Kid-friendliness: It's a great place for both children and adults. They have little games on the tables to occupy the children until your food gets there.

This weekend we were kid free, we decided there was no where in Missoula we would rather eat then Cracker Barrel.
We got chease curds! Still frozen in the middle when they got to our table. I didn't see a waiter until my food come out 15 minutes later. I politely informed the waitress that my chease curds are still frozen. No apologies, just said that they would get us some "fresh" ones. After our meals were there, I'm not sure what made them think we wanted an appetizer at that point, but I hated complaining about them in the first place.
After the freezer food had made it's way back to the deep fryer, we realized a few things were missing from my wife's meal. So, I said something for the second time and asked for the rest of our food.
They brought the food out and as the waitress sprinted to the next table we realized my wife's order was completely wrong.
I offered to say something for a 3rd complaint but at this point we just wanted to eat. Just then my chease curds arrived. After I finnished my meal, I had a couple as I was loading them in the to go box. THEY WERE STILL FROZEN IN THE MIDDLE!
im not one to complain so we just paid the $62 for our fine dining experience and left.
I hope we don't ever have to eat here again 😕

I ordered the same thing every time and somehow this place mistook chicken and dumplings for chicken soup, and gave me pot roast instead of roast beef.

chicken tenders were burnt for all of the people at the table and the brown gravy recipe has changed it was way too peppery. service was good.
