Why limit us to five stars when there are places like Cruz Tacos that deserve…10? Don’t just drive by this little oasis of taco heaven. I’ve been wanting to stop in and at long last I have and now I’m hooked. You’d have to book a flight to Mexico to find better examples of a true street taco. I’ll keep going on and on about how good the food is here but don’t waste your time reading anymore. Go here now! I ordered asada and lengua tacos and I only wish I’d ordered more. Expertly cooked meats that melt in your mouth along with the best salsa, ever. A squeeze of lime, a bite of what must be home pickled jalapeno and I was transported to nirvana. Mathew and his mother run this amazing spot and you won’t find nicer people or better food anywhere. I’m going back later for their taquitos and maybe a burrito too. My diet can start tomorrow. Don’t delay. Cruz Tacos will be your one and only spot for authentic Mexican food, guaranteed.

We heard great things about this place and they exceeded our expectations! The lady at the window was so lovely and sweet. We shared the chicken burrito and they even cut it in half for us:) it was very tasty!!! Definitely will be back again!!!

My experience today included a nice warm sunny day, and 2 available picnic tables. However my experience was topped off with excellence in service as well as excellence in food. I myself enjoyed a Carnitas tostado, topped with black beans and rice as well as assorted crunchy greens including cabbage. I was given a variety of sauces each outstanding in their own way. I highly recommend Cruz tacos. Take your appetite as I myself left no crumbs.

WOW. Missoula has some truly authentic and quality Mexican food in Cruz tacos. Aside from the fact that I’ve known some of the family behind this restaurant and think they are awesome folks, this food is genuinely so good. Lived in the Seattle area for my whole life and traveled through the west coast so I’ve had many incredible experiences with Mexican food to compare this to; I will now be a staunch supporter and proprietor!!!! EAT HERE if you want good food!!!

Great carnitas tacos! Good tortillas, especially good meat, good salsa and the right ratio of onion and cilantro. Chicken was good, chorizo also very good. Carnitas was outstanding. Also, really nice watermelon agua fresca, very fruity and not too sweet.
