The Double Front Cafe & Bar has the best fried chicken I have had. It's always piping hot and juicy and love the crispy coating over the skin. The waitresses are always friendly and attentive. This is one of my go-to places when I come to Missoula.
I got white meat fried chicken and fries. The chicken meat was tender and juicy but I didn't care for the fried crust part of it. I like mine to have more seasoning. I found this to be pretty bland and almost tasted like maybe it was time to change the grease in the fryer. Definitely not the best fried chicken I've had by a long shot. The fries were tasty though. Nice and crispy and flavorful. I do appreciate the reasonable prices though and service was friendly so four...
I have never been to Missoula... my wife INSISTED that we stop here since it's one of her favorites from when she lived in the area. We got the 4 piece meal which fed both of us. Food was AMAZING... BEST French Fries I've ever tasted. Our waitress Lori was a sweetie. She deserves a HUGE raise. ? Thanks for the excellent grub.
