I love the quality of the food here, but the portions are always extremely lacking. I want to give my money to a local business that focuses on quality, farm-to-table food, but I could go to a locally competing deli and get twice the portion for the same price or less. New dining area is nice but very loud, hard to have a conversation.
Food is good but it’s just so expensive for what you get. It’s $45 for 2 to eat lunch here and you don’t get all that much for the price. I had the smash burger, which is delicious, but it’s so small for $18 and does not come with fries.
Had an excellent burger. It was good but a bit small and no sides for $17.
Great food lots of flavor, great atmosphere, was treated really kind by staff. Everything is fried in pork fat, which is way healthier. Love supporting local, meat comes from a ranch in the Bitterroot Valley. It's our new favorite restaurant by far.
Double K is an absolute must-visit! My husband and I always make it a priority to stop here whenever we’re in Missoula. The flavors are consistently impressive, and I highly recommend trying the burger or whatever special they have on the menu.
And don't miss the braised beef—it's nothing short of spectacular! Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, it melts in your mouth and leaves you craving more. I honestly haven't had a bad dish yet. Each visit is a delightful culinary experience!
This is a lowkey location next to the mall.
It doesn’t even look like a restaurant, but sure enough they have a nice seating area with a chill atmosphere.
I haven’t even tried the food yet and I’m giving the place a 5 star.
They cook their fries in tallow, which is enough for a 5 star (seed oil is a major contributor to why Americans are fat imo).
I ordered a charcuterie board but I will definitely try some burgers next time.
I also want to cancel out some of the ridiculous 2 star reviews.
Went there yesterday, got a stomach ache and ended throwing up my sandwich. For the average Montanan that can afford to eat there. DONT. Rude staff, food poisoning and bad vibes is the reason I won’t be coming back.
We ate here while visiting from out of town and was really impressed! The burger was delicious but I just had to write a review to say these are the best fries I've had in a long time! Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere was nice, the only thing that would have made it better would have been a diet coke with my meal.
Food is amazing, their beef and pork comes from their ranch in the bitterroot valley.
Delicious flavors, definitely worth the visit and return visits
As always perfect service and amazing food.

Excellent hamburgers and sandwiches. Each one is unique and all of the ingredients are local. Definitely worth the visit.
Purchased filet mignon. Super yummy, will be back for more meat and try their meals.
Every slow “fast food” should be like this place. Fry’s fried in tallow and amazing burgers.
It’s hard to give such a low rating because I do think the food is good but just not for the price. I paid 25 dollars for a gluten free burger. 21 plus the tip (17 dollars for the burger and 4 dollars for a gf bun). The gluten free buns are small but honestly delish, they just cost as much as a loaf of bread. The real problem is the burger. It’s so thin. I felt like I was eating mostly bun with extra sauce and little bit of meat. They said it’s how they do if but why not give people a double (1/2 pound) rather than charging $20 for a really smashed 1/4? Is a cattle ranch really that hard up on meat? I’m not sure how much extra it would’ve been if I ordered a double, but my guess is that I would’ve paid close to 30 if I had.
The service is odd too. The fellow at the front is aggressive with his introductions, or lack of. As soon as you walk in he yells, “what can I get you!?!?” I wanted to respond to just give me f… minute to look dude.
When he delivered the food he didn’t ask if he could get anything else or whatever but sorta yelled (I say yell because it was pretty damn loud) “thanks for coming in!!” Like I was leaving but I was eating there… honestly just odd. As I was eating he just stared, as I was the only person in there, upon meeting his eyes he asked me if I thought the food was good (from across the room). Again, really off-putting.
I think if the customer service was a little less weird and the place gave more meat for the amount of buck you spend it would be a great place.
Worst dining in Missoula that I’ve experienced so far. Overpriced and not worth the trip. Very disappointing… do better
