This was my first visit to this location. It was after the normal lunch crowd, so I had a great choice of tables. They have two fireplaces available to sit near for a cozy meal. The pork sandwich was delicious, and the fries were perfect. The server was right there whenever I needed a drink refill. It was a very nice dining experience.

When they first opened for business, the owner took the time to go to every table to make sure everyone was being taken care of.
I think this attitude has been related to all the employees, since they always genuinely care about your experience.
Today, I was reminded that I was there during happy hour, so I could have 2 smaller drinks instead of 1 large... Netting more ounces for less $
Again, they care that you get what you truly want while dining with them.

We bought the brisket which had no fat strip and was very very dry. We also bought the BBQ ribs, which was also very very dry and burnt taste. Additionally, we asked about the $10 bonus and was told they would do that for us but when we paid, we were told it's no longer available. All in all, it was a bad experience.

Went there the other night to get a meal for NYE. Restaurant was empty but still a 30 min wait for precooked ribs and precooked baked potato. Got there around 30 min after I ordered. Went to the to go desk. No one there, cash till WIDE OPEN. The manager walked out top check on something and didnt even notice that it was wide open. She also didn't ask me if I had been helped or anything for that matter. Not even a hello. The bartender who took my order was nice and friendly though. Waited at the bar for my food. Got it and drove home. Check your orders people. I will put that on me for not checking but it was 2 items so I thought I was ok. Drive home was about 20-25 with abnormally bad traffic. Got home and 75% of my order wasn't in there. Called the restaurant to get my card refunded. Got the manager. She put me on hold for 10 minutes and 99% she forgot I was there. At no point did she ever apologize for the mix up. I get there are going to be screw ups but the #1 to do immediately is apologize. It goes a long way. I called back after waiting for 10 min. Got someone else. They also did not apologize but did take down my info to make the necessary changes to the bill. I understand this is a huge chain franchise but is it that hard to say i'm sorry? I guess it is. Anyway, I finally sat and ate the ribs I ordered. Horrible. Dry as can be. If you live here in town, you know Nortorious PIG. Their ribs are orgasmic. My point is that Famous Daves charges the same price for a rack of ribs. Unreal. Usually I will give a place a second chance. Not this time.

Kid-friendliness: With six kids it’s tough to find a place we can enjoy eating out, famous Dave’s has always been one of our go-to, Krista was very helpful making sure my toddler was comfy and had things to keep him busy and the appropriate safe seat as well!
I've been coming to this place for years as it's a franchise staple and an OG Missoula spot to get food. My most recent stop my server Krista gave me absolutely amazing service. Her knowledge of the sauces and suggestions for sides and happy hour was great. I love the Cajun Chicken sandwich, and my burnt ends were done to perfection 👌
