FINN is a solid choice for a place to dine, and the server who took care of us was excellent. But, to be candid, the food offerings across the board--from starters to dessert options--were shockingly limited, and the food, while good, did not live up to the hype about the restaurant. After having dined the previous night at Pangea, we were disappointed by FINN.
We had happy hour pizza and beers; servixeand wait staff were outstanding. Pizza was better than average and the Octoberfest beer was very good.
The location of the restaurant along the river was awesome. Service was friendly and responsive. Breakfast menu was good and food was great!
Always enjoy going to Finn and taking in the view of the Missoula and the river with the floaters, paddle boarders, and lots of dogs! We loved the cheese platter and our favorite is always their wood-fired pizzas.
Finn is one of our favorite local restaurants. We eat there regularly. Last night, things were not right. Everything took way too long. Our server was very nice, but seemed stressed and, frankly, overwhelmed at times. We will be back. I hope things get back on track.
Good food and very nice waitress, but the woman who seated us (Harper) was not kind at all and dampened the experience significantly. I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. We were sat at a table without a view (we did have a reservation) and when we asked if there were any other tables available, we were not spoken to in a kind manner.
Pricey but has a great view and service. Come for happy hour and get a seat on the deck overlooking the Clark Fork river.
Nice place for drinks but quite pricey for what you get. Ellie was a great server!
My husband & I had a fabulous experience at Finn-Doubletree Missoula. The food was delicious, the service was excellent & the ambiance was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
Do not eat here. It's one of our most favorite places, but was so disappointing last night. The hotel is under construction and the entrance to the restaurant is through the hallway to the hotel rooms. The bathrooms are overused and are currently within the hotel rooms, rather than commercial bathrooms. The noise level was over the top. Parking was not available, nor was an Uber. My husband had to walk over a mile to find parking. Terrible experience!

Fix your AC please I can't even enjoy my meal.
This is a wonderful place to sit on the deck outside and enjoy the river and scenery while enjoying a great breakfast. Service is great and a relaxing place for a meal.
We eat at Finn often. The food was good tonight and service slow. We did encounter something different. Ordered an Old Fashion cocktail and server asked Jim Beam? We declined and accepted his offer to use Bulleit. When we got the check we had noticed an upcharge for Bulleit of $9 with the total for the drink at $19. For a well created Old Fashion $19 is acceptable but Finn also shakes the cocktail instead of stirring it. The cocktail was not worth $19 and will probably not order another. The best Old Fashion in the area is at Victor Station and Backyard Tap house, both stirred not shaken.
The food as delicious, love the view and ambience. The hotel lobby area is being remodeled so parking and that is kind of a mess right now (June 2025) it was super hot in there with no air circulation and it was cool and raining out side. The waiter was awkward and didn't keep our waters full. You need to get a key for the bathrooms.
Love this spot. Highly recommend.
