100% Gluten-free restaurant which is similar to a Chipotle. You create your own bowl. Small tables to eat inside or outside.
Very very disappointing. Long hair in one of our dishes…total appetite killer. Extras ordered and paid for not included in order. Request for sauce on side ignored.
I don't often write reviews, but this is an exception. I wish I would have taken pictures, but I was enjoying myself so much I didn't even think of it. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted with warm smiles. The ambiance was perfect. It was cozy, the music was enjoyable, but not too loud. We could clearly hear it, but still carry on a great conversation. The menu was simple, but the offerings were perfect. I was tempted to order one of the yummy sounding burgers, then, looked at several different types of steak. It was hard to decide, but I ended up choosing a steak sandwich. It was a Cuban specialty, Pan con Bistec“Steak Sandwich.” It was super satisfying. We tried the Plantains, Wild Meatballs (bison and wild boar), and the Brussels & Bacon. It was all tasty. I didn't have desert last night, but I was treated to some of their gorgeous cheesecake last fall. It was so velvety and deeply rich. I definitely will go back.
If your cheese breads come out cold, don’t expect new ones without an extra charge—they’ll make you keep the old ones too. The staff could definitely show a bit more kindness; it feels like they’re not too happy with their jobs. Other than that, the food was pretty decent.

5 on Black has an easy menu, the food tastes really good (the spicy coconut sauce looks awful but tastes great) and I have not met an unpleasant employee yet. Beware: the little rolls they sell are addictive.
Kid-friendliness: They had gluten-free offerings and the grandkids loved the place.

My boyfriend and I really love the food here. It's become our favorite lunch spot in Missoula.

Food is good but the last 2-3 times I’ve been in this same employee ( short, earrings, “blonde”) is super rude to people ordering especially if you can tell it’s their first visit in. The music is loud so I think people tend to not be able to hear him super clear and so he is very quickly annoyed and snappy at people while barking orders to the kitchen staff I get tough customers I work in customer service too and I could never imagine letting a coworker talk to anyone like that.

a bowl of rice with a tiny-bit of taste-less boiled meat. nothing Brazilian about it.

So disappointed! Meat was chopped into baby size bites and didn’t taste like it was roasted. The only thing Brazilian was the cheese bread. Music was loud and country western for the people that worked there.
False advertising. Hope other customers get an opportunity to taste real Brazilian food because it is so delicious and not anything like this place.. 5 on Black should take the Brazilian reference off their menu and building.

We loved everything about this place! If you think vegetarian or vegan have to be tasteless, think again. These dishes are bursting with flavor!
Vegetarian options: Also vegan choices.
As a new-to tofu eater, I found their oven roasted tofu amazing!

Really tasty bowl concept. We tried the stew and tilapia, and everything was tasty. The fountain drinks from Tractor Beverage are all delish.

So grateful someone else noticed the portion problems between workers! We stopped going because of the issue. The food is good and expensive. It shouldn’t be a crapshoot how you get each time.

A Brazilian colleague of mine wanted to show us food from her native land, this was not it. Tables were dirty, Pao de queijo was stale, and it was a bit pricey. Staff were more interested in chatting amongst themselves.
Great food.

On line and on the door it says open everyday 11-9pm but not open on Saturday apparently. If the business is not open change your hours online before people make the trip. Very unprofessional.
