The girls that work up front are extremely rude and create a very unwelcoming environment. This was my first time to visit and i definitely won’t be back. Good luck to the small local shops.

First time here. I came for lunch and if I were to provide grades for the various element it would go like this:
Drinks A- the Chai tea with vanilla foam was perfect. Not too sweet with yummy foam.
Food B- the praying monk was just ok. I was hoping for more flavor and it was over toasted so the bread was dry with crusts that were too hard to eat.
Service C minus- this was disappointing. The place was not at all busy, but the attitude of the servers was lackluster. No smile, no offer to get a copy of my receipt. My table was three feet from the service area and yet I almost didn’t realize when my drink and then food were ready as they were just placed on the counter and someone sort of mumbled what the item was.
Interesting that the women behind the counter seemed much friendlier when young men were the customers.
I don’t think I’ll be back.

I called to ask if my office could place a big order and they were so kind and accommodating! Every drink was made perfectly and they had our order done fast. The gal I spoke with on the phone was so sweet. I will definitely be getting my coffee from Hunter Bay going forward. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I find it really slimy that a 4 star cafe is only paying their employees 14 dollars an hour in todays economy only offering part time positions. They require you to have a diploma or equivalent to get next to nothing? meanwhile you can go to a fastfood joint and easily make 4 dollars more without hesitation. If you have that little regard for your staff then I'm gonna take a guess that the food and drink is subpar and over priced probably. Why would I take the chance of dealing with a angry individual for so little I wouldn't. step your game up jeez.

This place is a such a little GEM! A friend took me to lunch a couple months ago and I’m hooked! They have delicious sandwiches and smoothies! My favorite is the PRAYING MONK sand and a green smoothie! So so delicious !

I’ve really tried to like this place and given chance after chance but the coffee is terrible, service isn’t spectacular and no one really seems happy to be there. Really wish it was a dope spot for really good coffee and food but it’s unreliable and I end up dumping it because it’s unbearable to drink or eat.

Cool little cafe, a little busy at 10am when I went. I enjoyed the flat white and garlic croissant I ordered.

Great lattes. Really nice space. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often.
Happened upon this place on a visit to the bead shop and I LOVE it. Nice varied selection of drinks, eats, and treats. There's a customer photo of a sign showing reduced hours on the photos tab, this is old and not the case, they are open per hours listed on google. Go check them out!
