Kaidun was our server and he was great. My mom and I were worn out from a long day and on the edge of hangry, but the day was saved.
The only reason it’s four and not five stars is just cuz we’ve been there before and had servers who clearly didn’t care if we dropped dead at the table, which is how it is at most places unfortunately.
I’ve been a career f&b employee and it was really nice to not have to face another set of dead eyes on just another robotic server.
So this review is just a shoutout to Kaidun to honestly thank him for being so easygoing and kind.

I have special dietary needs and my server Daisha was incredibly kind and accommodating. Not only did my meal come out perfectly with my long list of substitutions, it was BEAUTIFULLY plated. I got to sit and enjoy my meal with no worries. I am impressed and grateful.

This used to be the best pizza in town, but since they changed their cheese it is unbearably bad.
The cheese doesn’t melt, for one. A fresh slice, 2 minutes in the microwave; still couldn’t melt it. Also it tastes awful and it smells bad. Whatever you guys did, please change it back. Stinky cheese does not belong on pizza.

On Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, my wife, in-laws, two children, and me at the MacKenzie River location on Reserve in Missoula. We were seated right away and enjoyed the rather peaceful environment. I ordered the Buffalo Mack N’ Cheese and it was fantastic. Lots of pasta, cheese, chicken, blue cheese crumbles, and buffalo sauce…what’s not to like?! It carried the perfect kick and was just overall enjoyable. Most everyone else got a small/personal pizza and said they were good. Although I didn’t partake, one of the cookie skillets was ordered and it didn’t last long at all.
Prices are great and with the amount of food you get the value is superb. Our server was on the quieter side and after taking our orders and bringing our drinks, she didn’t return until she brought her food. This was a little frustrating as my wife waited more than 20 minutes for a soda refill. It would be nice if the restaurant did invest in some TVs. But overall we had a tasty and enjoyable meal. 🍝
10/11, 6:15 ish pm. Took an hour to get our appetizer and 1.5 hours to get our main course, AND THEY GOT OUR MAIN COURSE ORDER WRONG. Never again.

We decided to go here for the first time yesterday (Sunday 9/28) after watching the goat race at Highlander Brewery. We got there around 3:30/4pm and stood up front waiting for several minutes for someone to acknowledge us and seat us. There was an odd smell that I noted while we waiting, I noted that the place did not smell like a pizza place but smelled more like trash. When we were finally seated, we walked past literally every booth filled with dirty dishes. Not sure if they were had a busy lunch rush or were understaffed or some combination or the two, but suddenly the garbage smell made sense. We were sat at a table with chairs near the back which needed to be wiped down. Once we were seated, we waited for 10 minutes for a server to come take our drink order, but no one ever came. With how dirty the restaurant was and how slow the service was, we decided that it was in our best interest to leave. Would not return as there are tons of other better pizza joints in town.

I’m sorry to leave this review. We love MR pizza. We stopped in for late lunch/early dinner recently.
The food was good. I love the salad with the pears and grape nuts.
Where the problem comes in was the waiter we had that day. Dylan.
He was not listening to our order. We told him we wanted 2-salads and a rancher pizza. He replied…ok you want ranch on your salads. Is that all? So we repeated it again. We also ordered huckleberry lemonade…which he said he was going to get and would be right back. It was’nt until he brought out the salads, I had to remind him about the drinks…”oh you’re right”. He had forgotten. Then we ordered thin crust pizza. We got a regular -very puffy-crust pizza. I had to ask for plates, as he just sat the pizza on the table and ran off.
The service was really bad that day.
