The Moose is my go to spot for authentic Mexican food. You can live off one of their burritos for several days😉 the tacos are outstanding. I knew I was in for some yummy food when I saw abuela working the stove.

Finally authentic Mexican food in Missoula! The owner is so kind and held my baby for me so I could eat my meal and enjoy it. When delicious food and excellent customer service come together you get a customer for life.

Ordered the carne supreme burrito and it was all rice and beans, no steak to be found. The tacos are also the smallest yet most expensive tacos I’ve ever seen.
Wonderful food and atmosphere!

Unique beefy meaty flavor sensation. Give it a shot.

The best most authentic Mexican food in town. I am working our way through the menu and I haven’t been disappointed yet!

Sub- par, expensive, non-authentic Mexican food.

I ordered asada and got bad unseasoned ground beef, iceberg lettuce and unnoticeable sauce, white rice. Literally the worst white person burrito I’ve ever had and I think it was like $14. I would not feed it to a dog that I liked

Delicious, authentic mexican food. Beans and rice were great. We got burritos, pretty decent size, very affordable. A regular bean and cheese burrito is $7. The salsa is super good. They have specials on certain days of the week. We missed the Chile Verde on Wednesday but we'll definitely be back to try it. Please note, the restaurant itself is in the bar from a side entrance, so the location is interesting. Plenty of seats inside and outside on the patio, patio allows smoking, that's the only downside I would say.
Otherwise, definitely worth the stop. And the food came out FAST!

Bet torta in the world I’ve tried em all over
The service was awful. Beware of ordering from Door Dash on the Mexican Moose website. They left out our nacho order ($18.50!). We texted Door Dash-no response. We called the restaurant and left a message-no response. We called again and they promised to call us back and “make it right”. No call back from them.
The food was mediocre. We had a burrito and rice & beans. The burrito beef was chewy and there was no cheese. We also had a quesadilla which was ok but cold. Very disappointing and expensive.

Good food at the most convenient hours possible. Thank you for opening open an actual location ❤️
Short: Don't go
Long: Strange place, we were the only people there on a Friday evening, music blaring, counter order, plastic/paper, no condiments.
Food was horrible, I think they just pulled pre-made from fridge re-heated it, because it was ice cold in the center. Meat in my burrito had gone south, took one bite spit it out, wife did the same. Threw out the food and left. So disappointed

Great food. New location on Broadway, shared with Stuffed 406 - they are still moving in so it's not particularly cute inside but hopefully that will improve. Darn good authentic Mexican burrito!
