The ramen was very flavorful and the michi fries were excellent. Even the normal sized ramen bowls are enough for two people so the sumo is even bigger but still portioned very well with ingredients.

It is a little pricey but the quality and quantity matches it. I’d eat here pretty much everyday if I could afford it instead I settle for it once a week. Always end up full and satisfied one of my favorite spots in Missoula.

Pretty disappointed in our $67 meal. The ramen was some of the worst ramen I’ve had. The broth was so bland and there was nothing but noodles and some very dry and fatty meat. The amount of veggies and other add ons were so sparse it was sad. The amount of time it took to get our food based on the quality of the food was shocking even though the restaurant didn’t seem busy. I’ve made better packaged ramen. The fries and drink we got were alright though. The atmosphere is pleasant and the server was nice. However no one checked on us or asked if we needed anything. We probably would have expressed how disappointing the food was.

The food was fresh and delicious. The broth was savory and very satisfying. The portions were good and I felt the prices were fair for what we recieved. The mochi icecream wasnt as fresh as it could have been but that type of product can just generally be hit or miss. The staff were friendly and I will absolutely be back again. The entry was a little hard to find but its worth it!

There are a few vegan options on the menu including edamame and pickled cucumbers, and the oyster mushrooms can be made vegan by omitting butter and were excellent. They were out of the vegetarian ramen but the chef accommodated and made a tofu katsu rice bowl creation using available ingredients, which we really appreciated.
We were seated for 20 minutes before someone came and finally took our order. Understandable if it was busy but it wasn’t. The server that took our order had a horrible attitude. By the 60 minute mark we still hadn’t received our appetizers or entrees but the table next to us who showed up 30 minutes after us had. Felt racially motivated. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.

The Chicken Katsu ramen was delicious, I could eat that meal every day. Their tiki punch cocktail special was also stellar. To top it off, our server Allie was fantastic and gave us a great recommendation with the Oyster Mushrooms! I love Michi Ramen Bar! Will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Missoula.
