Im always have 2nd thought due to its location. Anxiety risk getting a ticket somehow especially if the order takes longer a wait

$16 for a burrito is a joke, and if you participate in that then you are telling them it's okay to keep jacking up the price.
I have been on the lookout for consistently good breakfast food since many of my local favorites have closed over the years. I consider high praise to say that Golden Yolk Griddle seems to be the replacement I’ve been looking for, for the Shack’s breakfast burritos.
My breakfast burrito was absolutely fantastic! I could taste the quality ingredients as well as the care put into my food. The avocado was fresh, not at all brown, the eggs were light and fluffy, and the bacon was sublime. Literally every aspect of the burrito was exceptional. I also greatly appreciated the chipotle sour cream - as it was not too spicy for me, which is often a problem.
The staff were kind, helpful, and gracious. They were happy to give me the time to decide what I wanted, as well as accommodating any question I had.
What a wonderful first dining experience! Definitely recommend to anyone who has a few extra minutes (ten for freshly made - heck yeah) to get one of the best breakfasts in town!

we waited more than 30 min for a burrito and simple sandwich. the food was pretty good, but chorizo was definitely not what i was expecting, and a little expensive for what it is

it’s quite tasty and fresh ?
I love coming and grabbing a burrito to-go. They run just a touch pricey, but that’s made up for in the quality of their food. I heard they use a specific local brand of eggs, and that’s why their yolks are so yellow and delicious! I’m not even a fan of sour cream, but the special kind they use is delicious, and the perfect way to bind together their burritos.
My partner has tried their sandwiches, which they said are solid, and their drinks are tasty too!
What I appreciate most about Golden Yolk is its location. I can’t drive for medical reasons, so being able to catch the bus and stop for a delicious hot breakfast right at the station is the best thing I could ask for. I usually get a grab-and-go burrito to save on time, but otherwise, the few minutes wait is because they’re making your food fresh.
Just remember, they’re a breakfast place and close early, so get it while it’s good!

The Soy Boy Vol 2 burrito is vegan as is and is huge and DELICIOUS, esp if you add fresh tomatoes and avocado. I wanted to also add caramelized onions and the kind person working the register quickly warned that they are cooked in butter. I appreciated her vigilance! Offers oat milk for coffee/tea beverages.
Stopped here 2 mornings in a row while visiting Missoula because it was that good! Went with the Farmer’s Market Sandwich which was incredible and filling, as well as a latte (also great). The staff was very friendly, it’s in a great spot with nearby street parking, and the orders come out in a short time. Definitely recommend!

Got a breakfast burrito. Was terribly dry, and had my stomach churning within half an hour. Not making the mistake of spending 12 dollars on a convenient bus station breakfast spot again. Good grief

I called ahead for dietary restriction information. The wirker who answered knew everything I needed to know without putting me on hold. When I showed up, they made me great food that fit my dietary restrictions perfectly. If you have dairy issues, I would strongly suggest this restaurant.

This place was fantastic. Their vegan options were delightful and clearly listed. The staff was friendly. The soy boy was so yummy, wanted to go back the next day but they were unfortunately closed on Sundays. The only downside is this is a walk-up location. We were hoping for a sit down place or a place to sit down around but there was very little indication of that anywhere. Minor detail, genuinely. Would come back!

It's bus stop food. $10+ for a breakfast burrito which is a little spendy but what isn't anymore. It's in a good location if you're downtown and it has fast service. No receipt offered or napkins. They have a marketing reward program. 1 point for every $6. After spending $60 you can redeem points. The hot sauce is decent. It's a habanero sauce like Yucatan gold. Tried the chorizo burrito. No chorizo tastes so far. It's a fine breakfast burrito. But I'd feel better paying $7 for it.

The best breakfast in my opinion in Missoula, super fast and fresh ingredients. Don’t know what I would do without my golden yolk :)
