Pho Vi is our favorite restaurant in Missoula! We come from cities with much bigger Asian populations than we have here and really miss good Asian food, but Pho Vi consistently delivers. Their kimchi is my favorite I've ever had (really gingery) based on a secret family recipe. We've had curry, pho, and rice noodle dishes and loved them all.

I had the pho special. Not sure if it would be different if I got another option, but I don't think they had different broths. Just not what I was looking for. Chicken-based broth, I believe I read on the menu? Anyway. The flavor wasn't what I was expecting/wanting and ended up tasting mostly of black pepper at the bottom. The toppings were alright, quite a bit of chashu pork that ended up overcooked (of course) after being in the broth. Certainly not bad, but just not quite it either.

Definitely not authentic food. The lemongrass pho was absolutely tasteless. Served with lemon instead of lime not enough bean sprouts. The kids fried noodles with chicken were spaghetti noodles. The best thing was strawberry milk. Not worth the time or money.

Overall such a great experience. Twas quite a chilly day and the delicious pho warmed me right up! Also ordered some curry and OH MY! So yummy 😋 Great food and great prices, can’t wait to come in again!
