My husband and I shared a large oval shaped bowl of their Shepherd’s Pie. It was hot out of the oven and heavenly! The River City Grill’s shepherds pie is made with hamburger, vegetables, and covered with mashed potatoes and topped with cheddar cheese. We then shared a large piece of their Dutch apple pie. It’s the best in the city! The apples were slightly crunchy and the topping was crunchy.

Was excited to stop back after years, but the experience was a huge letdown. There was hair in my food—okay things happen—but being harassed in the parking lot over our tip amount was completely out of line. Not sure if it was a patron or the owner, but it was aggressive. We will never be back.

I met my friend here, she is in MT, I in WA. Food was great, stuffed babana french toast? And I had an omlett. The waitress was very attentive and nice. We sat for a while catching up, and they were fine with that. Lots of tables. Will be back, for sure! I suck at taking picks, but I will next time 😁

Went for breakfast this morning. As a trucker for almost 8years I’ve been all over the country and there are a lot of good places to eat but here in Missoula I must say this is the best place that I have been to in a very long time. Omelette and hash browns were perfectly made from the portions all the way to presentation it was everything I hoped it would be. And the biscuits and gravy were amazing as well. The biscuit was light and fluffy not hard and crumbly like most places. The atmosphere was so comforting and relaxed. the staff were warm and welcoming. So good I made it a must to come back for dinner. This will be my go to and must have every time I pass through Missoula. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Two young waitresses were on duty and both were unprofessional! One announced through the restaurant she was “taking a two minute break or she was leaving”. Our waitress was rude and impatient! Awful!

Great Restaurant with lots of semi truck and big rig RV parking. Great wood-floor country atmosphere and they serve breakfast until 2PM which is a big bonus! Service was courteous and prompt and the food came out very quickly. We each had Eggs (perfectly cooked, thick cut bacon (not quite as crisp as I like, but I forgot to ask, so that’s on me) and English muffins (perfectly crunchy). She had hash Browns, which were nice and crispy, but I had home fries, which were out of this world delicious. I ended up sharing half with her. Definitely get the home fries…
Great food, great service, decent price. Just dont forget to get a slice of pie after you're done eating.

Best sit-down breakfast around town considering the nice, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Their cook has the art of breakfast mastered! I noticed it is up for sale ? I am always concerned about the current quality taking a dive when a business such as this is under new ownership, as so many people think they can run a restaurant when this is RARELY the case. For now, 5 big stars! ?
