I’ve had sushi from coast to coast in the U.S., and this spot doesn’t quite meet expectations. First, the rolls here are smaller than average, yet priced a bit higher. Second, the restaurant puts its own twist on sushi by incorporating ingredients like wagyu and goat cheese. Usually wagyu is served in the nigiri style with a bigger and simpler portion of meat and rice. When added to a small sushi roll it loses its effect. Personally, I’ve never seen goat cheese on sushi before, and it felt less like traditional sushi and more like a charcuterie board. I won’t be ordering goat cheese on sushi again. I’ll likely return to try something more traditional. On a positive note, the service is great; the staff is attentive and friendly, although most seem new and couldn’t share much about the beautiful decor and installations. The atmosphere is stylish and inviting, a blend of seductive and classy that gives it a unique Asian-American fusion vibe.
Dietary restrictions: If you’re lactose intolerant don’t eat goat cheese not even a little as it is potent.

The food is always amazing! Service is usually top notch also but we had to continually ask for water and when it was brought one or two glasses were filled when others needed filled also. Maybe it was an off night but the check was brought and we were planning on dessert but changed our mind due to our waitress seemingly wanting to seat more guests.
Delicious as always! The rolls are all beautiful and creative. We sat in the back room, which I didn't even know existed, and it was great. Beautiful wall of lanterns, big windows and another cherry tree.
Great, fresh ingredients. The service was next level and it made for a perfect date night. Will be back for sure.
really enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere here. recommend the Tatsuo Hana
A couple good options for non Sushi types (like me). If you like tequila, try a Dead Lady.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free wife was pleased
Parking: Uphill from Caras lot, free at night (many leased spots are, too).

I’d have to say it’s the worst sushi I’ve ever had . The whole place has a weird vibe and the gentleman behind the sushi bar have zero personality and are rude at best. Definitely don’t waste your time here.

Our favorite way to celebrate is by splurging and eating an embarrassing amount of sushi. Saketome in Missoula and Bigfork never judge us for the obscene number of rolls we order for 2 and the truth is... we would order EVERY.SINGLE.ONE if we were independently wealthy and/or they held a contest where whoever could eat that many sushi rolls got their meal comped. Enough about me.... service, food and atmosphere is always amazing. Also, THE DRINKS! We are saving up now so we can go back in Feb for my son's birthday.
I absolutely love Saketome and will request Taya every time we go. We have been impressed with the food every time, and she makes the whole experience a 1000X better. She is always on it, always so positive and upbeat, and goes above and beyond to remember our favorite drinks, rolls etc. We love coming here and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys incredible sushi, and great drinks.

The food was extraordinary! We sampled many rolls and enjoyed the Tempura Prawns. Our servers were dellightful!
I’m a huge fan of Michi Ramen which sits just below Saketome and figured I’d switch it up and give it a try.
I sat alone at the bar and ordered the chicken Karaage and a crunchy Cali roll, alongside a virgin cocktail. Both were perfectly made, most notably the Bao bun with the Karaage.
The overall vibe of the facility is super upbeat and welcoming and definitely not too pricy for a first date, night out with the girls, or a solo dinner.
General manager was super kind and the bartender was laid back too.
I’m so glad I stopped in!

Parking: Depends on weekends and weekdays and the time you go in. Weekdays you should be okay to find parking. However T-S it can be a little more difficult.
Kid-friendliness: Not the place to bring young kids cause it’s a bit more upscale but seemed accommodating if you decided to.
