Way too much mayonnaise all over the sushi. The menu didn't indicate it came with mayo so I didn't ask to leave it off.

If you are wanting just a plain old California roll or spicy tuna roll, this place probably isn’t for you. This is definitely a more upscale sushi place that thinks outside the box for ingredients. The prices are higher and the rolls are unique. That said, the sushi is high quality and we’ve never been disappointed. The spicy edamame is a must. Our favorite rolls are the Les Halles and the Bigfork Bomb. The Under the Bonsai gin drink is really refreshing too! This place does get busy but it’s worth the wait.Parking: If you can’t find street parking, there is a lower lot at Caras Park. Parking is free after 5 pm.

I love this place so much!!! The food, the service and atmosphere is amazing! The only complaint I have is the dinning chairs in the back room are very uncomfortable! I recommend this place 100%

Cocktails were delicous. Our waitress was very good. The food however was off point - our tempura shrimp was soggy and not hot. Our sashimi looked like it was cut by someone with no knife skills or a dull knife. Unfortunately something has happened here with the food quality over the last 9 months or so. On our last 3 visits we had to have something taken off the bill because it was so poor/inedible. This used to be our GO TO restaurant in Missoula. Disappointing to see this place lose its focus.

Was really busy on a Saturday night, got there early without reservations and seated at the bar. Miso soup was wonderful, yummy rolls, good food and atmosphere. Good experience having sushi in Missoula Montana!

I came here for my 1st time on a date and we ordered 3 Sushi Rolls, and 4 orders of Sashimi which came out to 20 pieces of raw fish. The food was excellent and my total only came out to $80. I was visiting from Washington State on vacation and believe it not, this was the BEST food I had while staying in Montana. Service was sexy, atmosphere was sexy, everything was sexy. I will for sure without a doubt be back a 2nd time. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience and excellent service. <3

I'm a mega sushi snob and this place has never let me down. But sometimes I let myself down... to the basement.. where the ramen is also very good.

My favorite sushi roll is the Bigfork Bomb! We recommended it to the table next to us and they thought it was really good better than what they originally ordered! Can't wait to go back! I have never had a bad experience there!

Not the best sushi I’ve had but then again it is Montana. I was excited to try their “massive attack” special roll but it had a very “fishy” taste to it.

Sushi in Montana isn't easy to find especially good sushi. That being said this is the best place we've found. The ambiance and customer service are superb. The sushi we had last year was a little better tasting than last night. The crab in the rolls seemed off to the point that we didn't eat it. The seaweed on the spicy tuna was chewy and the tuna seemed fresher in the regular tuna roll. The crunch roll was great but tiny. Overall it wasn't fantastic like the first time we went but it's the best sushi we've found in our area so far.

I'd recently tried to eat here several times and even though there were empty tables they were not seating walk-ins as they were understaffed - i appreciated the honesty and decided I'd try later when i could schedule. Made reservations - arrived early and was seated. Energetic and conscientious server. Bar service was good. Anago sashimi came in pieces about the size of a quarter heavily charred, dried out and about as hard as a quarter - yes, eel needs to be cooked but not like that. Otoro tuna was ok, but lacked that buttery texture and smooth mouthfeel it is known for. At that point I stopped ordering as it wasn't likely to improve. My wife's Chicken Kaarage Bao was rather dry and tasteless. The Edamame never came to the table - I suspect that they've decided to fill every table given the pace our server was flitting about. They did have a nice Riesling on special.

Saketome has delicious sushi and excellent service. The atmosphere is quite fun. Be sure to get there early or be prepared to wait for a table. Our server forgot one of our rolls. She did her best to make up for the mistake. Quite a few of the rolls are spicy so if that's not your thing be prepared to ask for modifications.
