UPDATE: RUDE WAITRESS, FOOD TOOK 25 MIN AND WE WERE ONLY 3 TABLES WHEN WE GOT THERE. OTHER PEOPLES FOOD CAME OUT WAY BEFORE OURS. SANDWICH WAS COLD FRIES COLD AND WAITRESS DIDNT EVEN COME OVER THE WHOLE TIME. MANAGER NEEDS TRAINED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE! WILL...NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN
Great food! We had the keg nachos, spinach artichoke dip and railroad ties. Everything was delicious! Service was superb and we loved the view of the park.
Thank you, Chris! I’m sorry you have to deal with the DoorDash workers, sometimes. You’ve done nothing but uphold the standards of a restaurant, and quite frankly, you should be paid more! ( I have no idea how much you get paid, but being in the service, I’m sure you deserve more! ) 🤣
The food and service directly from the Tamarack is always above and beyond! Thanks, dude!
Tamarack Brewery in Missoula delivered a truly solid experience—wallah, it hit the spot from start to finish. I ordered The Montanan’ pizza, and it was honestly the star of the visit. It came malyan lahmeh (loaded with meat), full of flavor, and the personal size was more than enough—ya salaam, every bite was perfect.
To go with it, I tried their ’TOBERFEST beer, which was smooth, balanced, and sahtein to sip. It paired perfectly with the pizza and is definitely a brew I’d come back for.
The vibe at Tamarack is warm and inviting—mish ma’oul how relaxed and comfortable it feels. Friendly staff, good music, and a laid-back atmosphere make it easy to unwind and enjoy the moment.
Overall, a great spot—min akhir, worth a visit for anyone looking for good food, great beer, and an easygoing vibe.
I've eaten at Tamarack over the years, and most recently went to brunch on Sunday. Food has always been filling, with generous portions that allow you some leftovers. For my recent brunch, I had the breakfast BLT and did their 'make your own mimosa' bar-about an extra $2 to mix your own juice and fruits. It was quite an impressive bar for the various fruit options. Service is almost always great, with friendly staff. I'd recommend stopping in for a dinner or brunch if you're able.
Ordered the railroad ties, could barely get through one of them the texture was so off-putting
I don't really enjoy food or eating... I'm weird. And I never really put in reviews. But the fish and chips (well, the fish) and the bison burger were truly delicious.
This place was highly recommended I was so excited to stop in! To say the least I will never return the worst costumer service by the host and bartender I have EVER had! I was told the empty tables in the bar that were empty had people coming with reservations…. Waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged while standing by the table to get a beer. Then met the nicest people that walked in and got seated at the table that I must add did not have a reservation!! Cheers waited patiently for a beer and will never be back.
Delicious food & Christian S was the best waiter I’ve had in years
Unique place, good food. We sat on the veranda and enjoyed the food

Just popped in for a beer. Enjoying a refreshing hoppy IPA. Hat trick hop.
The nachos are top tier!! cheese on every layer lots of toppings and massive portions!! pictured is the half nacho
Solid beers and the happy hour menu was great!
Great place where everybody can find something to eat.
I really do like the food, beer, and atmosphere. But I have a dairy allergy (not intolerance, an actual allergy involving vomiting, throat swelling, etc.) I've ordered the salmon sandwich twice, both saying no cheese, and both times it's come with cheese anyway. I'd suggest training your waiters on allergies and instructing them to write down orders, because both times they didn't write my order down.
