I used to eat here 3 or 4 times a year. Last time I went there with my wife and I was really disappointing; things have changed a lot! I used to love the pretzels as an appetizer with the beer. The last one we got was dry - like a frozen pretzel microwaved. My wife and I ordered our favorite - Jagerschnitzel. What we got were two tough (unbreaded and un-tenderized) pork cutlets with a not so flavorful mushroom gravy. Schnitzels are supposed to be tenderized (usually by pounding); these were not. It wasn't very busy so I do not understand why the kitchen staff couldn't take the time to tenderize the pork cutlet. I really miss German food (grew up with it), so I am hoping someone will post an update stating that the schnitzels are properly prepared so I can come back. Beers are always good though.

Great selection of food. Amazing mustards to go with your order. Possibly the best kraut in America.
Cool environment. You can overlook the brewery side or sit on the balcony OR just relax in a booth. Staff is great. They know the menu and the beers.

I have 1 star only for the beer because the beer was outstanding. The food... is not authentic what so ever. I am German, loved in Germany for many years , first off jagerschnitzel is breaded not just half cooked grey colored slop tossed on a plate with packet gravy. The German potato salad is not authentic either. Was just some potatoes in vinegar with some slight sugar.. the chicken schnitzel that I had tasted as if it had been sitting in the fridge for over a week ..the flavor and smell was so terrible I couldn't get through 4 bites. Needless to say my husband and I also have upset stomach's now..we will not be back for a second visit. * edit* we just got back to our hotel and are both sick with only 1 bathroom so my husband is downstairs in the lobby. Thanks a bunch for making us sick!!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! * edit again* I ended up with food poisoning so did my husband although mine was worse. This place was the only thing we had eaten all day.... please do not eat here and of you do if the food tastes off do not eat it at all! Not even 5 bites like me .
Absolutely amazing. Had all 10 flights! The schnitzel is incredible. The atmosphere is authentic! Liam and Ahnna are awesome!! You won't be disappointed!!! ?
