The martinis were perfect, the clams were so garlicky you couldn’t taste the clam , the baby backs were nice and tender but I detected a bottled sauce. The faro risotto was great the lamb was perfectly cooked on the side but burned to a black crisp on the outside. Perhaps the chef should sous vide? Pepperbridge wine always a pleasure even if it wasn’t the best choice for the meal. The coffee crème brûlée was perfect and we had their two choices of cognac, however my brothers VS was quite cloudy, …good but I’m not thinking I want to go back. The lamb really turned me off. For $350 bucks I should be able to live everything without having to complain and send back half the dishes.

Came here with my Newly wedded Husband on our Honeymoon and we loved it! It was a wonderful atmosphere and the food was delicious. I had never had Duck before, but tried it for the first time and was quite delighted with my choice. There was not a single complaint coming from us that evening as we left. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Missoula.

I reserved a table upstairs on 10-11-25 upstairs at a window table when I got there on time I might add the hostess made up some story about why we couldn't have the table I reserved she then said I have a table for you she said best seat in the house so she seats us under the stairs thump thump all night completely unacceptable I know she gave out table to someone else. My lamb came out medium like I asked but the spices were burnt and tasted like burnt food our server was great and I tipped her well. My wife and I were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary and our experience with the hostess gave me a bad taste in my mouth and then the lamb comes out blackened. I thought the keep was a quality restaurant and they let me down in more ways than one. I am a business owner in Missoula and have lived in Missoula for 63 years. If I come back it will have to be on the house. Oh and thanks for running my anniversary.

Overall we had a great experience at The Keep! Our server was wonderful and knowledgeable; which was nice since we don't frequent places like this! Portions were modest. The poke salad was so good I forgot to grab a picture of it! Our dishes were cooked almost perfectly but perhaps a little under seasoned. Will probably be awhile before our return because we spent about the same on dinner as we did for an all day whitewater rafting excursion that stole the best experience of the summer award. You're definitely paying for the experience as a whole here. A fun treat, felt fancy! Honestly though if you know what you're doing in the kitchen and have a high standard for food (especially when paying $$$) a home cooked meal might compare.

My fiance and I had dinner for the first time at The Keep and we were very impressed. We had the pan roasted duck breast and New York steak, and my fiancé went as far as to say it was the best steak he’s had in Missoula. The ambiance of the restaurant and surrounding area was relaxing. However, we were most impressed with our server, Brittany. She was very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. We would highly recommend the restaurant for a special occasion due to the price (but worth it).

One of our favorite places in town! Their customer service is continuously excellent, food is never a let down besides when ribeye came off but is such a great place. We love coming to just dine to relax after a long day or sitting on patio with friends in the summer and have had many holiday parties with friends there! Must Visit for new people!
