We were driving through Missoula and were looking for a dog friendly spot to stop for dinner - luckily we found Thomas Meagher Bar! Great service, good food and drinks. Would recommend, especially for anyone wanting to dine out with their dog!
Great Irish fare. Good variety of brew.
Definitely a must stop for food, drinks, and an amazing atmosphere.
Food is painfully mediocre, I swear over the last five years it gets worse and worse and more expensive. I always get good service and it’s great for watching sports events. Servers are always wonderful. Don’t get the nachos, feels like high school cafeteria food. If you’re craving nachos hit up cranky Sam’s, they’re amazing. Overall I’d recommend this place for sports events and beers, maybe a burger.
Quietly outstanding.
Just had the worst corned beef meal of my life. Their 48 hour slow cooked corned beef was 85% fat, unseasoned, and incredibly chewy. Like, even the fat was chewy, people. Maybe two leaves of cabbage in my bowl and half a carrot. Sat down at 12:30, done with our food at 12:42. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging $18 for that sad bowl of zero effort garbage. Zero stars, go anywhere else for your St. Patrick’s Day meal.
Never ordering another salad from here as it took 20 mins to get and wasn't even made correctly. Sloppy!

Stopped by this place visiting out of town. I sat at the bar and Akira was my bartender. She made me feel extremely welcome and special, and gave me the full "Mar Bar" experience (as she called it). I had the hangover smash burger and it was delicious. I will be back everytime im in town visiting, and will highly recommend to all my friends and family.

I have always loved the drinks and atmosphere here, but the food has gone way downhill the last couple years. The menu has gotten smaller and the food has changed and isn't very good anymore. The drinks are still great.

Traveling through we stumbled upon this place on Saturday and the place was hopping! In spite of the crowds our service was on point. Our server, Ash was really attentive, knowledgeable and personable and honestly turned my day around. People are quick to review the negatives but I thought I’d take a moment just to say thank you. Good food, good people, great service. Definitely recommend.

I was in Missoula for business on Saturday and found myself at the Thomas Meagher bar for a bite and a beer. I was a little worried because it was busy due to the college football game, but my waitress Ash was a ray of sunshine, super attentive and was right on with her recommendation of the smash burger. The food came out quick and hot even though it was busy. It was delicious and exactly what I wanted. I am looking forward to another trip to Missoula so I can go back for another smash burger!
