First time. I've often heard and read about Wally & Buck Hamburgers as being of the Best in the state of Montana and the town of Missoula, Through word of mouth recently and in the past. Never heard of it. That's Missoula for ya. Of all sorts is what Missoula is. Choices on Menu is the Sale. Burgers are small. Price is up there. I met a part owner. I'm raised on a Cattle Farm/Ranch. Big. I ordered the OG after a great Convo with part owner. I sat at the bar right by the kitchen on a stool. The atmosphere is as I guess something I wouldn't expect, but it is in a really great location if you're hungry. The Burger from Oxbow was a tiny bit pink in the middle but I like my burgers done. No big deal. I never said how I wanted it done and it wasn't asked. It was still very tasty how it was prepared. Order of fries was too small. Overall the experience here is not what I expected. The Burger was too small. I'm in the Beef Industry. Not Retail. Blame Inflation I guess. The Burger isn't as good as mine at home. No Soda Fountain machine is a big downer. The Henry Weinhardt Rootbeer is delicious though. I could drink 8 of em. Make the Burgers Bigger guys. I saw and witnessed a guy come in and specifically looked at the menu, then asked how "Big" the burgers were. He had to ask for it to be doubled. I completely understand Quality over Quantity in this business. Meed to make a new menu in my opinion or add a Big Burger instead of doing the add one. Not a Poor review guys. The Burger is good. Just not the Best like I'd hoped. I'll come back again soon!! Need a Soda Fountain!!

Atmosphere would get 5 stars but they need more seating. Not a dig on them just no place to sit, which is a testament to their quality food. Beer with a burger was the best. Definitely returning when trip brings me back to this town.

These burgers are so good! The beef is obviously super high quality. I had the Rotator, wife had the Wally. Both amazing.They're somehow different. Lots of places make good burgers. These are exceptional

the staff was friendly and the place was clean. my food came out in great time. just was not a huge fan of the flavor of seasoning they used.Parking: there is no street parking directly in front of the place. you can park on the street either a little further down. or pay for parking next to the the restaurant or across the street. parking is $1 for an hour across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: they have lower tables
Update 12/09/23: After going to many other establishments in missoula and being thoroughly disappointed I have to upgrade my original 2 star rating to 3 as Wally and Buck has one of the better burgers altough every now and then you'll get a dry rubbery frisbee. It's still not great but in comparison to almost every where around only Wendy's can compete apparently.Missoula is a culinary sadfestoriginal post: Not really impressed. If you want a very beefy burger, meaning not so much seasoning, then its an OK burger. But, i like flavor so this isn't the best place. At least make the fries included, which aren't even that great either.

There truly aren’t words to describe a burger and fries at Wally and Bucks. Yes, I could waste your time trying in vain to detail just how inexplicably delicious the food is here but that would be wasting your time when you could just come here and experience it for yourself. Don’t doubt, don’t question, don’t wait. Get in your car, rent a plane, saddle up your horse or put on your walking shoes and get over here, now!
