Honestly inedible. Incredibly salty, greasy burgers with super overcooked and mushy vegetables. 2 bites and went in the trash. 2 stars only because would be good if drunk.

Owner came out with my food said we pay our people well , wouldn't take a tip . Food was extremely good ! I'm going back later and hiding some tips for hom and his staff. Great experience

What an awesome spot. Delivers well, too. Interesting and fun menu, open late and consistent. Pork cutlet sandwich is very very big. Some of these reviews are just about the bar and nothing to do with the Kid Whizard.

Glad there is still somewhere in downtown missoula that isn't price gouging the community like all the other places. Great cheesesteak at a reasonable price. That said I wish it was like 2" bigger and that I could sub the peppers for mushrooms. Hate peppers but love mushrooms on my cheesesteak.

I mean... Come on. Getting a Philly with actual cheese whiz sooo good. I'm not from here and just ordered pickup and was greated by a not open bar and 3 guys that looked very confused to see me haha. Glad I got it nonetheless.

Great ghost kitchen, lasts a long time for delivery plus reheats super well. They ship in the same bread used for Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches in Philly itself. Great guys with an awesome product.
Vegetarian options: Mushroom Sandwiches that are basically a Philly with sautéed mushrooms
Dietary restrictions: Almost vegan options available as well, no separate fryer yet but they keep a space for vegetarian sandwiches on the grill usually from my understanding.

Whiz kid Philly steak sandwiches are superior to any other sandwich in town! Great meat to bun ratio. I always get mine with cheese whiz to get as close to an authentic Philly sandwich as possible. Never disappointed at whiz kid. I also tried the fried potatoes this time and they were also delicious. I wouldn’t call them a French fry, but they’re delicious. They’re like a smashed fried baby potato.
I ordered nachos really good just way to salty after 3 chips I couldn't eat and had them take it asked for a refund or something after spending 16$ and said no there cheesesteak was amazing when I had it but because of this last visit will never ever eat here again even tho there food is good customer service with a problem is very poor

Fantastic cheesesteak in the heart of Missoula run by folks who know what they’re doing. They get their hoagies from Philly and their multi-culinary experience shines through their carefully curated menu items ranging from a schnitzel like pork sandwich to french dip to the classic cheese wiz cheesesteak (though you can get other cheeses too)! Missoula needed another food option for the dinner to late night crowd and Whiz Kid fills that void with flying colors. Operating out of a bar obviously has a multitude of other benefits but we just came for the cheesesteak ?
