Paid $100 for two entrees and two drinks. The food was mediocre at best. Salmon was a thin piece (tail portion) of sockeye. When you order salmon at a restaurant for $30 you don’t expect sockeye. Husband’s prime rib was flavorless. He ordered garlic mashed potatoes and got potatoes with gravy(?) that tasted like instant. We asked the waiter if they were instant and he said he has had that question before, but claimed they were not. Zero garlic or any flavor. Seriously...read full review

Montana City Grill & Saloon is a very nice place with an extremely welcoming atmosphere that is very clean. The service is amazing, with servers who check on guests and do not rush them. Diners enjoyed the Ciabatta Burger with perfect texture bread, black and blue wings, ribeye, fish and chips, and Huckleberry Ribs with scalloped cheese potatoes. The food is delicious and always good, with steaks and main entrees usually better than average. The atmosphere is beautiful with quite music. However, one party of 6 was seated quickly but then forgotten for 15-20 minutes before their food trickled out 45 minutes later. Despite this, Montana City Grill is a go-to staple for dining out, and the Christmas dinner buffet is always a treat.
