Great place to grab some lunch. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Love the soda fountain drinks. Ordered an Elk burger and Bison burger. Both were cooked to perfection. Have to say, liked the taste of the Bison burger over the elk. We had Huckleberry cream soda and a phosphate as well.
We ate lunch here on the recommendation of a young lady who worked in the candy store. My husband's rueben was the best he'd ever had. My son had an elk mushroom Swiss burger and my daughter and I had beef with bacon and cheddar. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely recomend!
Today we returned to Doe Brother’s (Doe’s) Restaurant anticipating a great meal as we had last year. Unfortunately someone made some terrible changes. The hamburger was completely “blah,” and significantly smaller. The pulled pork was very chewy; I suspect it may have been yesterday’s.
The server was a very personable young guy, no problems there. It was the food quality and quantity. Very disappointing. Next year we will go somewhere else.
