C & K Chinese Restaurant Reviews
My mom was starving after being in the ER all day and we were recommended to come here. We ordered fried rice, salt and pepper shrimp, tea, and from their winter seasonal menu dry pot oxtail. I usually don't like fried rice but their fried rice was so yummy!! The oxtail was delicious and the shrimps still had their heads on (I love it when they do, so much more flavor). The shrimp were also huge! I'm only visiting but I know when I'm back I will definitely eat here again ❤️
My wife I have enjoyed dinner at C & K twice and each time was very good! Tonight we had Walnut Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken, and Stir Fried Green Beans. During my aviation career, I had visited China many times and this restaurant is completely authentic. I could close my eyes and be back in Shanghai again. What a treasure to find this right here in Plains, MT. If you want to eat Americanized Chinese food, go to the Mustard Seed in Missoula. If you want the real thing, head on over...read full review

C & K Chinese Restaurant in Plains, MT, offers excellent, authentic Chinese food that is well worth the drive. The charming and comfortable restaurant is clean, with charming music playing. The service is prompt and friendly, with a lovely waitress and a warm, welcoming couple running the place—he is the chef and she handles the front. She is nice, smiley, and happy to answer questions, even suggesting making dishes "less hot" for those who do not like super-spicy food.
The food is amazing and packed with flavor, with reasonably priced, homemade cooking. Popular dishes include water buns, mapo tofu, fried green beans, spicy chicken, hot & sour soup, braised beef meatballs, salt and pepper chicken, fried rice, stir-fried green beans, spicy pork ribs, pork fried water buns, spicy beef ribs, garlic chicken wings, braised short ribs, noodles, and honey walnut shrimp. The hot and sour soup is a favorite, and the honey walnut shrimp is better than Panda Express. Everything is good, and the portions are generous. Guests are greeted with a smile and tasty smells, making it a treat to have something different than typical burgers and pizza. Many return again and again, with some driving 45 minutes just to enjoy the cooking.
