The food was a very good, but not superb. I would go back if we lived closer, but not for a drive down from Missoula is a little too far to go back

My dad took us here for Sunday brunch. I had a raspberry lemon muffin and it was amazing!!! My main course had biscuits and gravy (I am a connoisseur ?) This was THE BEST I have ever ever had!! Redneck gravy and a little crisp on the bottom of the biscuit. The owner Angie was our server and she is so nice I can’t wait to visit my dad again and eat here.

With a reservation there is still a long wait. It takes about an hour to recieve food at the table after ordering. It stays fairly busy and pretty loud. Very small space so feels a bit crammed. I am always hoping there will be baked goods and it's usually one or two choices and 9 times out of 10 sold out so you can never get one. A lot of the brunch menu items are gone and sell out before noon as well each Sunday. Portions are very small and prices are high. Service was just okay. Overall I probably won't be returning.
Kid-friendliness: It is advertised as kid friendly but there is not a lot of options for children, no kids menu.

Whenever someone asks me where to eat in the Bitterroot, I always say "Mission Bistro" first! The food is superb, the prices fair, and the atmosphere is not pretentious.
My mom loved it so much that we ate here twice when she came to visit!

Nestled on the main road of Stevensville of the city, Mission Bistro offers an unparalleled dining experience that leaves an indelible mark on the palate and soul. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in an ambiance that is both sophisticated and inviting, from a first date to a 50th anniversary, from a small celebration to a major life milestone, Mission Bistro has you covered.
The rotating menu at Mission Bistro is a testament to the chef's expertise and creativity. With a well-curated selection that strikes a perfect balance between variety and focus, there's never a moment of indecision or overwhelm. Each dish is a thoughtfully crafted, reflecting the depth and range of flavors., each bite is a reflection to the thought and care that the menu designer puts into.
A special mention must be made of the sous chef, whose culinary prowess is matched only by his endearing presence. Standing at a diminutive stature of 5 foot even, his passion and talent tower over the kitchen. His meticulous attention to detail and innovative approach to cuisine make every dish not just a meal, but an experience, a talking point for future conversations anytime someone mentions a meal they had, you can chip in and say "The food I had at Mission Bistro was excellent". The chef's charming and cute demeanor adds a unique and delightful touch to the entire dining affair, despite his struggles with reaching the cookware, the pure art that leaves that kitchen and arrives on your plate will almost make you forget he's 4' 11".
