Such an amazing spot! Very wonderful atmosphere with excellent service!
Ordered meatloaf, complained to the waitress about it tasting old and reheated. After talking to the chef she told us they precook the meatloaf, slice and refrigerate or freeze, then reheat upon serving. She told us it was made and sliced last week. WEEK OLD REHEATED MEATLOAF?? NO THANKS! No compensation was offered for the bad meal. Very disappointing as we have eaten here a lot in the past. Won’t be returning.
Prime rib on Fridays is excellent.
We reserved a table to celebrate a birthday this evening and had never eaten here before. We were very happy with our meals and will definitely recommend others eat here!
We ordered the Braided Pork Belly to share as an appetizer. This came with kimchi pickles on the side, which was a nice touch of vinegar to contradict the sweet, fatty flavor of the pork belly. The pork belly was braised in a honey bourbon soy glaze that was crispy and caramelized on the outside, yet the pork was juicy and fluffy on the inside. This was hands down our favorite part of our meal!
We also had four slices of garlic bread brought to us. This was a pre-buttered and seasoned french bagette and was toasted to a crispy, but not hard, texture. It was pretty tasty.
I ordered Dad's Meatloaf for my entre. This was served with cooked beets with a blue cheese melted on top. I absolutely do not enjoy either beets or blue cheese. However, I sampled both and can at least attest that the beets were cooked properly. Alongside the beets were fried golden potatoes. I'm not sure what they were fried in to give them the deep red color, but they were well seasoned and soft, but not quite mashable. I enjoyed them by themselves. The meatloaf was moist and adhered to itself well. This was listed on the menu as containing Angus Chuck, bacon, and sausage. It contained plenty of fat to keep it moist and prevent crumbling. However, were I blind folded and asked to taste it, I would tell you it was Andouille sausage. Thankfully, I happen to very much like Andouille sausage. I could not see or distinctly taste any bacon. Perhaps it needed more bacon? However, it was very dense and obviously protein packed and therefore fulfilling.
My birthday guest ordered the special of the night, which was the Sea Bass with vegetable puree and polenta. The vegetable puree was flavorful in its own rite, and I found in sampling it that it had a warm, hearty sense about it. The polenta was warm, moist, well adhering to itself, and had decent flavor to itself. It had a nice crust to it as well. The Sea Bass was seared very well and had a nice char to it, yet the flesh inside was moist and supple. A couple bites of fish had a really mild fishy taste, but for the most part, the fish was as one should expect (not gamey or fishy). The Sea Bass was very hearty and meaty and we were served a very good portion size.
For dessert, we had the Chocolate Decadance flourless cake. This is one of my favorite desserts, so I was happy to see it was offered it. This variation uses dark chocolate and ganauche with a raspberry drizzle. I'm not a raspberry fan at all, but I found the sauce very pleasant. I was also surprised that, due to the use of dark chocolate, the cake was not at all rich. Many restaurants serve extremely rich (read, super sweet) flourless cakes. This was a dark chocolate fans delight. It was creamy and smooth without the sugar gut bomb to follow.
The second dessert we ordered was the Peach Melba. This is, essentially, peach slices with vanilla ice cream, berry sauce, with whipped cream and pecans on top. First, they obviously used a good vanilla bean ice cream. Secondly, the peach slices were sweet but not limp and soggy like you find in canned peaches. The whipped cream was light and lacked the overly sweet nature of canned cool whip. For the $8 dessert charge, this can easily be shared by two people!
Our server, Alyssa, was very professional, and we were well served.
In total, we spent $128 after the tip to celebrate a birthday. While we do not eat like this normally, we are very glad we treated ourselves and tried Catered Table. It was worth the time and money for the occasion!
This is truly an incredible dining experience. The service was incredible and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. The kitchen and chef know exactly what they are doing and execute their plan flawlessly. And the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Well done to everyone involved, you're doing a great job and should feel very proud about it.
For anyone who believes that the Bitterroot doesn't have great food, they clearly have not been to the Catered Table. I honestly haven't had a bad meal here. They're recent special of Korean-style chicken drumlettes were spot on. The owners are lovely people, and clearly have some serious talent. If you're looking for a delicious dinner in Stevensville, and one that won't break the bank, the Catered Table is the place for you.
If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, this is the place to go. Great assortment of wines to choose from.
This will be our go to place for special celebrations from now on.
The Catered Table hosted our CEO's retirement party, and the experience was fantastic. The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our waiter, Alyssa (apologies if I misheard or misspelled your name), provided outstanding customer service. Reserving a table for our group of about 12 was a breeze—they took our order and reservation over the phone and were flexible with our needs.
Although I didn’t try the food due to dietary restrictions, everything we ordered was thoroughly enjoyed, with no leftovers in sight. They also have an excellent wine selection. Overall, it was a delightful experience in such a charming spot in downtown Stevi. Highly recommend!
We were very disappointed that we weren’t informed ahead of time they were out of filet mignon, the reason we all went. No milk for granddaughter. Pork chop had very little meat on the bone. Pricey for what we got. We should have been informed ahead of time. We weren’t told until we ordered wine and appetizers so we had to order stuff we tried and didn’t like. Unprofessional.

Fantastic dinner, great service but slow (a full hour from. Sit down & order to delivery), quiet busser (no dangling glasses or crashing silver). It's worth coming back, but just be prepared for the wait.

Our go-to for anniversary dinner. As beef ranchers, we are very particular about steak. The filet has never disappointed us! The service has been amazing and we will be back again.

Our guests said the Shrimp scampi was good. My husband enjoyed the Pork Steak. The Chilean Sea Bass was excellent. Unfortunately that dish was spoiled with very bland Gnocchi. Slightly redeemed by the Creme Brûlée! Our waitress was friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant. Not noisy at all, which made for an overall enjoyable evening.

By far one of the best meals I’ve had in the Bitterroot. The Scallop Gumbo was inspired.
