We were the only ones in as it was off-season. The hostess/owner was so attentive and really made it an experience by explaining what the food was and how it was prepared. The mulled wine and the peach cider were delicious! I had a schnitzel Reuben and was very happy. My friend had the pierogies and sausage. There was so much food that you could not see the bottom of his plate at all!While we waited it was great to see all the memorabilia on the walls. ?

We stopped by for lunch at this restaurant during the off season. Owner was very friendly and fun to talk to. I can’t say enough about the food. It was amazing! I would highly recommend a stop here while visiting Virginia City or if you are passing through.

A great stop for a memorable meal! I had the sauerbraten with German potato salad (a must try dish!) and watermelon. The beef was fork tender and everything felt/tasted like home cooking. And it's open round! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Virginia City.
