Simple, rustic, classic local Saloon. The food comes from the Virginia City Cafe attached to the bar. Good burgers and sandwiches.The bar offers a wide selection of Montana drafts, as well as almost anything else in the liquor department.They have a pool table, as well as a few slot machines.Parking: During peak tourism times, parking could be difficult, but there is a free lot up the street. And the town is just 4 blocks long!Kid-friendliness: Not really a kid friendly place....read full review
Amazing bartender super nice. The bale of hay saloon has a far worse atmosphere. I choose the pioneer bar every time it's far better.Kid-friendliness: Soda and candy for the kids
