The FOOD IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS
Ate there tonight (7/16/24)... EXCELLENT food!!!! Steak was to die for! Great dessert too. Staff very friendly and attentive. Well worth making reservations (we did) and enjoying a meal.

Located in Virginia City, Wells Fargo Bar & Grill is a total hidden gem with a historic, rustic 1800s feel. The atmosphere is a throwback to old Montana, featuring cool stuff to look at like a Sasquatch display and a clean bathroom. The service is excellent, with a super friendly and welcoming wait staff. The food is outstanding, with standout dishes including the short rib, a fillet steak with Gorgonzola cheese and mushrooms, and a 20oz Ribeye cooked precisely to order. The dinner special of 20 oz prime ribeye was the best steak many had ever eaten in Montana, and the Caesar salad, grilled salmon, lasagna, and broccolini were also delicious. While the food is described as really good and top in Montana, some note it can be expensive. The restaurant offers a decent wine selection and a solid American steakhouse classics menu. Reservations are recommended.
