Closed for the season, don’t plan on this place after sept 2nd, even though Google says otherwise. Super bummed to find that out when we got up there, had to go back to apgar for lunch since we weren’t prepared.
The restaurant is at Lake McDonald thereby making it the perfect spot to grab some food while you are there. I ordered wings in Buffalo sauce and they were perfect. Service was quick and they have some good pizzas and vegetarian options as well.

Let’s just say it’s decent enough compared to the prices of the other restaurants in Apgar and McDonald. The food wasn’t spectacular but it was better than the freeze dried meals and we didn’t get sick. If we come back to the area I wouldn’t eat here again though and would make sure I brought enough food into the park.

I kid you not, I seriously think the pizza is from the kits at Costco with the cardboard dough. It makes sense because they come out very quickly. The "meatballs" seem like Costco meatballs that are thawed and sliced. The chicken on the pizza is like dino nuggets that are cut up and put on the pizza. Given the location, I guess it's something, but for the price, they should have something more real. Warning: the buffet is $16.50. I believe they used real cheese because my lactose intolerant child started making noise.

Subpar food. Be prepared to eat pizza that tastes like frozen pizza.

We were so excited to try this place, but ended up leaving disappointed. We entered and got what was left of some pizza. The salad bar was good and tasted fresh. The pasta with one being empty and the other look like it had been sitting there half a day did not look appetizing at all. When they finally got more pizza out it was good but limited options and very lengthy and wait time. There is no air conditioning so we come out of the heat into the heat and then still had to wait on the buffet to get stocked. Someone who I guess was a manager came out of the back and began yelling at staff, but it did get some things rolling for the buffet. I was just very disappointing to pay for four buffets and have such a limited items and food available. The taste of the food is why we gave the food two stars. This would be a great place and has so much potential if they could get things straightened out, just not sure if we'd be willing to try it again.

Good inexpensive option in the park! Cheaper and better hours than the lodge. Pizza and salad hit the spot after a morning hiking.

If you’re in Glacier National Park and need a tasty dining spot, Jammer Joes Grill and Pizzeria is your go-to spot! It’s got that laid-back, cozy vibe that’s perfect after a day of exploring.
We were on the hunt for veggie options and hit the jackpot with their pasta and pizza.
The breaded Parmesan eggplant was truly a standout; its crispy coating provided a delightful crunch that paired perfectly with the rich marinara sauce. It was unique and packed with flavor, making it one of the best dishes I had in the park.
Even their basic cheese pizza, with the choice of your toppings, was tasty and satisfying.
We also ordered huckleberry cheesecake for dessert; it had a good texture and was very tasty, although it didn’t have much of huckleberry flavor-just a few huckleberries as toppings.
Ratings Summary
• Eggplant Parmesan Pasta: 4.5/5
• Cheese Pizza: 3.5/5
• Huckleberry
Service is speedy and cheerful, making sure you’re well-fed and happy. Jammer Joes might not be fancy, but it’s definitely satisfying. So, grab a seat, enjoy the mountain lodge feel, and dig in!

I ordered the meatball sandwich. It was pretty good and a reasonable price considering it was in the park. Menu posted from a year ago is still pretty accurate!

A typical park cafeteria type place. Meatball parm sandwich was good, as well as the pizza. Nothing to write home about. This place serves a purpose, for a “quick” meal, while on the west side of the park.

This place is “closed for the season”. Might wanna let your customers know on Google so they don’t waste time driving and finding parking. By the way it’s still in season, the weather will be beautiful for a month. The state needs to seize your property and make better use of it.

The pizza here is so much better than you would expect. It is very good. And the breeze flows through here nicely (it was the middle of the horrible August 2023 heat wave this mattered a lot!). AND the wifi works in here!
All-you-can-eat buffet includes salad bar, pasta, and pizza, plus soft drink. We especially enjoyed the apple crisp!
Good was average, hot building, no to go option.

We were tooling around Glacier NP and were looking for something to eat. The choices in a NP are limited and often restaurants there slide because they have a captive audience, so I wasn't expecting a lot. When we walked up to Jammer Joe's, were weren't even sure it was open. There weren't people going in and out and we didn't see any sign of activity, but the doors were open so we went in. I think there was one table with someone at it but, again, we didn't have many other options so we went for it. I'm glad we did. We ordered a couple of Caesar salads and a pepperoni pizza. The salads were huge and very fresh and the pizza was excellent. The crust was fairly thin with just the right amount of "chew" for us and it was obviously made fresh. I was wondering if we'd get a Totino's out of a microwave but definitely not. While we were eating the manager came over to see how we were doing. She said they were new management and had just opened after being closed for a couple of years due to COVID. She said they'd done a lot to remodel the restaurant (and it looked clean and new) and she really wanted to know what we thought. I told her I was pleasantly surprised and that everything was quite good. There are a couple of other choices in the area. (This is in the complex that includes the Lake McDonald Lodge.) But I have no trouble recommending Jammer Joe's and would happily eat there again.
