Ok so besides the fact that this place had one of the best potato salads that I had in any restaurant. Their bbq was amazing, great smoky flavor great texture could of bin bit more moist, but I been spoiled by Kansas style bbq. And I know that traveling trough 40 states and trying bbq in each one of them things are made differently. I definitely enjoyed the service and food that made me feel like home.

Since it was cold and rainy, I was craving for something hearty and tasty. Looked through Yelp and decided to go with my fellow yelpers. Plus the Bad Dog got my attention. Parking was easy on the streets. Nice ambiance with a few TVs with sports on. Service was simple and quick. We ordered our meals and waited patiently for it. The Bad Dog with topped with brisket was phenomenal!! It was so much good, but soooooo delicious! Pair it with the green chili corn...OH EM GEE!!! And then washing it down with Coke! AAAAGGGHHH!! Dang it, I want some now! I enjoyed my meal very very much, but unfortunately my tummy could only handle so much food. I couldn't finish my corn =(My boyfriend enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich very much, but probably not as much me and my dog, lol. Would definitely come back when we're back in town!

Staying in this town before going into Yellowstone national park the next day. and were craving some meat. We googled good BBQ in the area and this place popped up. Got some nice ice cold local draft beers. Then we ordered pulled pork and brisket with beans, creamed corn, cowboy caviar, cheese grits and cornbread. We loved everything. Good BBQ sauce, sides were excellent and the meats were tender and delicious didn't even need the BBQ sauce it was so flavorful.

We weren't sure what to expect when we walked into this restaurant because it only had a 4 rating on Tripadvisor. We were pleasantly surprised! It's not a huge restaurant & I think there was only one server, Kiki. She was awesome! I got the pulled pork sandwich & my husband got the BBQ dinner with 2 meats. There was more than enough food & it was delicious! The one thing that would have been good is if they had extra bbq sauce in bottles on the table. I had to ask for extra & got a small cup. Maybe this is to avoid waste? In any case, I know they would have brought even more if I had asked. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We witnessed a giant struggle between the wait staff, they seemed lost. We waited to be seated which was fine however, by the time we sat down, only two tables in the entire place were actually eating food. Everyone else was waiting. Our server, we were told, was the owner’s wife….the owner needs to fire his wife. She forgot to take several table’s orders for 15-20 minutes and had to be reminded by the customers that they still needed to order. The other waitress noticed we had been waiting and helped us out. At one point only one table had food and they had just received it. Nine were either waiting to order or receive food (because they had literally just ordered). I feel bad for the cook. We came in the off season and I would hate to know what this is like during the peak season. Terrible, terrible service. Which was unfortunate because the food was delicious and arrived fairly quickly.

Visiting from South Carolina so we had to try the BBQ here in Montana. I had the sliced turkey and it was delicious. The sandwich comes with one side and I chose the cowboy caviar. I wasn't a fan of their version. It was a bit too tangy for my liking. I was able to switch it out for the green chili creamed corn and it was very good. My husband ordered the 3 bone rib plate and when it came to the table, they gave him 5 bones. He was very pleased.

Our visit is late in the season and during a snow storm that dropped 4 to 6 inches so we had the restaurant to ourselves for most of our visit mid-afternoon. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich while I enjoyed the sliced turkey dinner. The photo shows the mean when it arrived, before I added the yummy sauce at the table. If you're looking for cheap, this isn't it, but it also consistent with prices in town and similar tourist towns. I felt the taste and portion size exceeded expectations. Service was top notch in speed, quality, and politeness. I'll definitely visit again.

This was a wonderful stop while out shopping the local stores. Having tons of barbecue in both Oklahoma, Texas, and Alabama, the barbecue was excellent! The sauce was a perfectly sweet, tangy, seasoned concoction that my baby girl wanted to suck through a straw... and tbh so did I.The creamed corn side was super yummy with a very faint kick. We had the pulled pork and turkey and it was perfect. My son and daughter ordered the pork sliders with a side of homemade bbq chips and they were great!The service was still fantastic despite a single server working 4 tables and the food was put out relatively quickly. She was very skilled at multitasking and anticipating each tables needs. I thought this was the best meal of our 4 day trip so far.
