“We loved this restaurant. The pancakes are the best that I have ever had. We would definitely return. Our waitress Izzy (not sure if spelled correctly) was so sweet and friendly.”

“I visited as a solo traveler and Abby made me feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I ordered the pork chop which was delicious and topped it off with the cheesecake and huckleberry sauce which was fantastic. Highly recommended.”

“We highly recommend this gem of a restaurant in West Yellowstone. The food was beyond fantastic. On our first night we enjoyed the meatballs (elk & bison ) and the 1/2 chicken both where delicious and cooked to perfection. On our seconded night we ordered the Elk Ravioli and the Elk medallions- wow what can we say it was sooooo good. We even had room for the huckleberry cheesecake which put us in a food coma. Our waitress was Amber and what a sweetheart and she never missed a step. Went out of her way to make our dinner experience extra special. We also want to do a shout out to Brenda the owner you are one special lady. We enjoyed speaking with you from one Wisconsinite to another and we absolutely enjoyed our scotcharoo's on our trip home. If we are ever back in Yellowstone we sure will stop by again.”

“Stephan was our waiter. He greeted us warmly and gave us great service the whole time. We drove into west Yellowstone and decided to get breakfast. We had no place in mind, and happened onto the Black Sheep Cafe. The decor was sophisticated and very comfortable. The food was good. It was a lucky find.”

“Beautiful and surreal spot. Stayed here after The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Still close enough that our kids did a day trip to Yellowstone again and we stayed back and relaxed. West Yellowstone town is about 5 min down the road. Views are amazing. Very peaceful and the staff was super nice and accommodating. I definitely give 5 stars for something unique and relaxing.”

“We ordered our wedding cake from Bear Country Bakery. They were very easy to work with even with us being out of state. Communication was great and they were very responsive! Plus, the cake tasted and looked amazing!!”

“First off, this would be our second day in a row here. The food is amazing and the staff is great! We had Florina for our waitress both day she is very sweet and beautiful! I think I may have embarrassed her by pointing out how beautiful she is lol Day one I ordered the tritip dip it was so good the waffle frieswere tasty, day two I ordered the chicken fried state with loaded bake potato and white rice chicken soup! Amazing also the huckleberry cheese cake for the win! If you like to gamble there is a tiny casino area and also a bar area. The hours are sporadic at the moment but call ahead and see! You won't be dissapointed.”

“From outside you don't expect too much. But once you taste your food pleasant surprise. Food was fresh, not much gristle on the meat and the BBQ sauce was just right, not too sweet.”

“Huge shoutout to The City Creamery in Cave Creek. We went on Monday and asked if they had licorice ice cream and they didn’t at the moment so the wonderful lady took my name and number said she would call me when they had some. She called me yesterday afternoon and today we made the trek to Cave Creek to get some wonderful ice cream and also bought two pints of licorice to bring home! They give military discounts too which is amazing because we all love a good business that loves our military and first responders! I highly recommend if you are looking for a delicious ice cream treat you head there and enjoy some fresh homemade ice cream!”

“Nothing fancy, basic accommodations, old cabin with some updates. Warmth, water, food, comfy bedding, and shelter for the evening. Beautiful view of the valley (see my photos). Best price in the area by a country mile...way better than a motel. Excellent communication with the owner. Easy drive to West Yellowstone and the gate to the park.”

“My husband and I ate at the Branch Restaurant in West Yellowstone and although the dinner wasn’t the best I have had, Christian our waiter made the dining experience a great one. I ordered the bison and elk chili and it came to the table cold. When I brought it to his attention, he brought me a nice hot cup of chili and didn’t even charge me for it. Thanks Christian for really enhancing my dining experience. Top notch customer service.”

“Stopped in for breakfast on Sunday. Got there at the perfect time as it got pretty busy not long after we sat. Our waitress was great! She handled a full restaurant like a pro. Our latte’s were just right. Fruit was nice and fresh on my son’s yogurt. Eggs Florentine had perfectly poached eggs, giant English muffins. Breakfast potatoes were a hit for everyone at our table. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Service slow. Waited an hour for our meal after waiting a half hour to order our drinks and order dinner. Very high priced for the meals we got. The meats were overcooked and dry. Sides were served lukewarm.”

The service is superior and the restaurant itself is something you have to see - roomy log interior that feels right out of a Western movie. Highly recommend.”
