“Krystain, our waiter, was excellent. We were quickly seated and ordered. Late in the day (8:00) so plenty of tables opened. Duck was a bit dry. Highly recommend the huckleberry sorbet.”

“We dined here during our stay and had a generally good experience. The ambiance is lovely and the service was absolutely top-notch. For starters, we loved the Chana Masala cauliflower soup and the Mediterranean plate. For our main courses, the eggplant napoleon was delicious, though the vegan bolognese fell a bit flat and wasn't that great. Overall, it's a very convenient and enjoyable dining option if you're already staying at the hotel!”

“We wanted to sit down and be served while at the Canyon village and this was the only option for lunch.
We had the burgers and I was worried the Bison burgers would be too dry because they are a dry meat and the server mentioned that they have to cook them well done. I was pleasantly surprised. The burgers were juicy and tasty. The lettuce, tomatoes and pickles were very fresh. The fries that came with it were crispy and good. Which made me think the chili fries would have been great as well.
The food came out in a flash and my server (I think her name was Mylani) was very nice and helpful.
We did sit by the back door and I would recommend that they hold off deliveries through that door to a different time or door while people are eating there.”

“The tacos are $5 each and you can’t complain about them. They weren’t that many vegetarian options which was a bummer. There was an incident when we were there where a teenage girl was dipping her fingers into the salsa bar and then licking them repeatedly. The restaurant handled this very well (threw out everything in the salsa bar and replaced with new immediately), so I think the employees take the place seriously.”

“I've had some pretty awful national park food experiences so I wasn't expecting much however, the food here was incredible. My partner and I both had the bbq brisket with mac and cheese and beans and it was delicious. The portion size was huge and the food was super fresh and hot! And for only $21 each I feel this is exceptional value. Well worth a trip in my opinion!”

“We read the reviews and knew there is limited seating. So we planned to buy the prepared wrapped sandwiches and sides in the morning, and carry them for our lunch after a walk on the nearby trails. The sandwiches were very good – they seemed fresh, had good flavor, and were at a reasonable cost. The staff was friendly, and the line moved quickly, so, based on our experience, we would rate the Bear Paw Deli highly as a source for prepared food. A reminder, though, to plan ahead for your seating, as there are only a few tables in the deli. If you park in the Old Faithful Inn lot, it’s only a short walk to your car.”

“Pretty good burger and fries. I like how they have Colorado cola ( try prickly pear cactus soda, it’s fire) and not just the cheap high fructose corn syrup soda as the only option. The staff were nice and it was a good place to eat after a long day traveling the parks.”

“The food here is a little pricey but fair for a restaurant this fancy. The buffet is a really good deal for the kids( you can look at the list of stuff served at the buffet at the end of my review). It’s 50 dollars for adults which is more expensive than i would expect but it’s fair considering it’s all you can eat. The other options are also a wide variety from pastas to burgers. The staff are very nice especially Gregory who was our waiter for that day. If you’re staying at the inn I would check this place out.
BUFFET MENU
Rolls n butter, cornbread, Mac n cheese, fresh brisket!, salad bar ( WITH NO BLUE CHEESE😡😡😡), sausage links, brownies, cheesecake, and more but I can’t remember.”

“This was a good dining experience. They have one side for pho and some Asian foods, and another side for more mainstream American food. I had the rotisserie chicken, and to my surprise it actually tasted good. I think pricing was reasonable as well. Normal diner environment.”

“We had some truly bad food around Yellowstone so in seeing the 3 star review here, I expected the same. So when the chicken Sandwhiches we got here came out as fresh and delicious as they did, it was a very pleasant surprise. They were light and full of flavour, made with quality ingredients and a real bit of chicken breast. The ordering system was easy with lots of customisation options, everything you needed as far as condiments, drinks etc were accessible and the dining room was nice overlooking the lake. When we finished our Sandwhiches we very nearly ordered a second one each they were that nice. Prices were good for the area too.”

“If they run out of huckleberry ice cream like they did when I was there, in the freezers on the other side of the store, you can buy a pint of the same brand they sell at the ice cream area!”
