Restaurants in Yellowstone National Park

“Old Faithful General Store has a great variety of gifts as well as some snack/grocery options. We also picked up food at the deli. It was good but a bit on the pricey side which is expected.”

“This was definitely the best meal we had during our five-days stay in Yellowstone.

We didn’t have a reservation and waited about 20 minutes for a table. Our server was very friendly, patient, and attentive.

We started with the chicken soup, which was absolutely delicious and so comforting after a long day of hiking. For our main dishes, we had the bison ribs, which were incredibly tender, fell right off the bone, and practically melted in your mouth. We also tried the bison burger, and that was delicious too.

The food wasn’t too salty or greasy, which we really appreciated.

Definitely recommend this place!”

“I was pleasantly surprised. We arrived around 4:30 pm. There were empty tables. We ordered the bison chopped steak dinner and the chef salad with French dressing. The greens in the salad were fresh and it was loaded with ham, turkey and cheese. The dressing was so good that I asked for another one. The chopped bison steak was tasty and so was the mashed potatoes. The only meh was the green beans. We also ordered a flight of 4 local beers and they were all good. The service could have been better. They forgot the garlic bread with bison dinner and were not very good on refilling water.”

“We dined here during our stay and had a generally good experience. The ambiance is lovely and the service was absolutely top-notch. For starters, we loved the Chana Masala cauliflower soup and the Mediterranean plate. For our main courses, the eggplant napoleon was delicious, though the vegan bolognese fell a bit flat and wasn't that great. Overall, it's a very convenient and enjoyable dining option if you're already staying at the hotel!”

“Had lunch here during my recent stay at Yellowstone, and was pretty impressed by their vegetation option. The bean patty burger was great and surpassed my expectations (caused by the previous veg burger I had at the mammoth springs location).
Service was great and chef explicitly told us that he prepared the food separately.
Combined with the retro diner atmosphere, this was the best dining experience I had inside the park.
Only drawback were the crinkle fries were a bit hard, though the large burger was enough to compensate.
Highly recommend Canyon Lodges in general for their veg options with the burger, pizza and pho options.”

“Probably the best food option in the park. It was decently cheap, service was fast, and the tacos were great in comparison to everywhere else. Lemon Tres Leches was amazing.”

“We were pretty excited to find this place in the Old Faithful cafeteria section that offered a full vegan meal for $16-$18. We came here twice. Falafel Plate is completely vegan except for the Tzatiki Sauce, so she subbed in garlic sauce for us! The Hummus Plate and Dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) plate are also vegan. All plates come with pita chips and tabbouleh. I have allergies, so I took out about half of the ingredients, but I loved my meal anyway. We were SOO happy to find something in the park we could eat! The second day (when I took the pictures), they were out of some ingredients, unfortunately, so she was nice and subbed in some grape leaves for us, which we really enjoyed. I think this is the best (and quick) stop for vegans in the park. They also had a vegetarian hot dog, which I verified was vegan, but I did not check the ingredients in the bun, since I was not ordering it.”

“We read the reviews and knew there is limited seating. So we planned to buy the prepared wrapped sandwiches and sides in the morning, and carry them for our lunch after a walk on the nearby trails. The sandwiches were very good – they seemed fresh, had good flavor, and were at a reasonable cost. The staff was friendly, and the line moved quickly, so, based on our experience, we would rate the Bear Paw Deli highly as a source for prepared food. A reminder, though, to plan ahead for your seating, as there are only a few tables in the deli. If you park in the Old Faithful Inn lot, it’s only a short walk to your car.”

“Not sure why the low rating. My family of six came in an devoured their food. The portions were plentiful and tasty (my kids won't eat what they don't like). There was a good variety for breakfast which is wha my this review is about.

Overall the entire family was pleased with volume and taste.”

“Pretty good burger and fries. I like how they have Colorado cola ( try prickly pear cactus soda, it’s fire) and not just the cheap high fructose corn syrup soda as the only option. The staff were nice and it was a good place to eat after a long day traveling the parks.”

“We dinned here in late August and received fantastic service attention, adherence to reservation time (5 PM), and a wide variety of food options. Note- quality of the food was medium (some items on the buffet were super yummy, but salmon overcooked- keep expectations lower), and prices are higher. We appreciated the kids menu as well. The service made up for the food. Shout out to our server from Indonesia and his assistant from Romania.”

“We ordered the pot roast with mashed potatoes and green beans and the hot beef open face sandwich with mashed potatoes carrots and Mac n cheese. Everything was excellent! The hot beef is the pot roast on a piece of toast with mashed potatoes on top. The Mac n cheese was shockingly good, I expected watery flavorless bleh and it was the complete opposite. It was creamy and flavorful. The pot roast was not fatty at all and melted in my mouth. It was a very filling meal after a day of walking around the park. We would absolutely come back and order the same thing again.”

“We stayed nearby Lake Lodge in the Bridge Bay Camping ground. When we're searching for a good restaurant nearby, we got this. We had dinner on 10.8.26 and next day 11.8.26 revisited for Breakfast. Food is good. Especially the attention given by Mr. Brian at the food ordering counter, who has very friendly attitude helped us a lot in selecting our required food. Hats off to him. Nice hotel in Yellowstone National Park.”
