Everyone was very friendly and helpful and made an amazing effort to help our daughter with life threatening food allergies be able to enjoy a meal. From the time we checked in and requested a table by an open window, the staff was on top of it and told the other staff who to seat us with. Excellent restaurant to visit when you are in Yellowstone good service and friendly waiters.
Lunch buffet was a pretty good value considering the price of food inside the park. Not only that, but it was delicious and the dining room is such a neat place to eat in and look around.

The Old Faithful Inn Dining Room offers a decent dining experience, but it may not exceed expectations. While prices are steep, the bison bratwurst remains a highlight. Service is adequate, and staff like MariLeigh and Brandon provide friendly and attentive assistance, with Brandon serving some of the best wings ever and offering helpful park advice. The buffet options are limited, especially since the lunch buffet has been discontinued, but the breakfast buffet is still available and offers pretty good food. The buffet bar itself is small for the capacity of the dining room, which can lead to wait times, especially during busy hours. Visitors can enjoy a traditional American breakfast in a beautiful setting, with the option to wait around 30 minutes in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the hall. Reservations are required, and parking is plentiful. The food inside the national park is slightly better than fine, with dishes like Idaho red trout with mashed potatoes and vegetables cooked and seasoned very well. The roasted red pepper smoked gouda soup and caesar salad are satisfying, and drinks such as the huckleberry martini and spring sipper are delightful and refreshing. The large dining room allows guests to get a table without a reservation around 8:30 pm. Overall, the Inn provides a pleasant environment with decent food, though service can be slow at times.
