Old Faithful Inn New American • $$
3200 Old Faithful Inn Rd, Yellowstone National Park

“As a national historic landmark, Old Faithful Inn is the most requested lodging facility in the park. Built in 1903-1904 with local logs and stone, the Inn is one of the largest log-style structures in the world. The towering lobby features a massive stone fireplace and a hand-crafted clock made of copper, wood, and wrought iron serving as focal points. It’s always been a dream to stay here and finally we did it . We were so happy . Highly recommended place while you are visiting the Yellowstone NP.“

“We wanted to sit down and be served while at the Canyon village and this was the only option for lunch.

We had the burgers and I was worried the Bison burgers would be too dry because they are a dry meat and the server mentioned that they have to cook them well done. I was pleasantly surprised. The burgers were juicy and tasty. The lettuce, tomatoes and pickles were very fresh. The fries that came with it were crispy and good. Which made me think the chili fries would have been great as well.

The food came out in a flash and my server (I think her name was Mylani) was very nice and helpful.

We did sit by the back door and I would recommend that they hold off deliveries through that door to a different time or door while people are eating there.“

“5/5 Stars – Absolutely Exceptional Service!
I had dinner here right around closing time (around 10 PM), and I cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly. I was having trouble deciding what to order, and they gave me fantastic recommendations and top-tier service.
But what really made this an unforgettable experience was how the staff treated me when I was in a tough spot after my meal. I didn't have a car, it was freezing cold outside, my phone had zero network, and I didn't even have my hotel's phone number to call for a ride. I asked the bartenders for help, and both of them were incredibly kind and willing to assist.
One of them—a sweet guy with curly hair (I incredibly regret not catching his name!)—went completely above and beyond. He looked up my hotel's number and called them to arrange a security pickup for me. Because it was so cold, I kept stepping outside to check for the ride and coming back in. He might noticed this and actually went to stand outside in the cold himself just to keep an eye out and make sure the hotel security found the right spot.
He is an absolute gem of a person. It is so rare to find that level of genuine care and hospitality. Incredible food, great atmosphere, and staff with golden hearts.“

“My family of 4 had dinner June of 2026. The view is beautiful and the service was good. They were really busy, so it’s understandable the servers were very busy and the kitchen was backed up. But enjoy the view and the company you are with. My only complaint is paying $180 to eat a dinner with my family. It is the most expensive meal I’ve had in the 5 days we spent in Yellowstone. The menu is small, but the food was good. Kids got lobster Mac-cheese, I had a salad with salmon and my wife had smothered chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We also had onion rings, and they were delicious.“
