New American Restaurants in Yellowstone National Park, WY

“We booked a room with not toilet or shower. It's was a little awkward to use the showers as they were on a separate floor and the water pressure and temperature were a little off. You can't get a better location in the park. The dinning room food was poor but the service was good. The downside to staying in the park is that you don't have many options of where to eat.“

“I was pleasantly surprised. We arrived around 4:30 pm. There were empty tables. We ordered the bison chopped steak dinner and the chef salad with French dressing. The greens in the salad were fresh and it was loaded with ham, turkey and cheese. The dressing was so good that I asked for another one. The chopped bison steak was tasty and so was the mashed potatoes. The only meh was the green beans. We also ordered a flight of 4 local beers and they were all good. The service could have been better. They forgot the garlic bread with bison dinner and were not very good on refilling water.“

“Large open spacious dining room with views of Lake Yellowstone. Meal was exceptional. Great service. Had the Scallop + the shrimp on grits along with a bottle of California Sparkling. Dessert was a simple but delicious Basque Cake. Served with strawberries. Yum. Would definitely repeat.“

“I was really hungry after exploring the geysers and
was happy to find a nice
place to eat in the park.

I was seated after a short
wait and ordered a Bison
/Elk Burger and a Huckleberry
soda.

The menu has burgers, chili,
sandwiches like pulled pork,
nachos, soup, cheese fries,
and Huckleberry floats.

I received my order in about
ten minutes with no problems.

The Burger had a nice taste
to it, but the bun was not toasted.

I received a small amount of fries the were crispy and not
oversalted.

The Huckleberry soda had a
nice taste to it, and was not
too sweet.

friendly service, and a simple menu that is a little expensive.“

“We really enjoyed our experience here. After doing an early morning trip to the Lamar Valley, on our way back we stopped for breakfast at the Canyon Village Eatery.
There was a variety of items available for breakfast. There were quite a few folks already there for breakfast at around 8:30 AM. But we didn’t have to wait much.
The dining area is big and clean.
We ordered coffee, hot chocolate, French toast and bacon, biscuit gravy - sausage, and potatoes. It was delicious as we expected it to be.“
