The Old Faithful Hotel is a very historic hotel in Yellowstone Park. The biggest advantage is that it is very close to the Old Faithful Fountain. When the eruption time is approaching, you can walk to see the fountain.
Great old time rustic log cabin inn. This lodging more than the others I stayed at in Yellowstone really takes you back in time (Please Note: no Internet). You can imagine seeing Teddy Roosevelt himself walking the halls.The evening ritual of sitting around the open area facing your fellow travelers while listening to live music is equally amusing to observe as it is to partake. Staying here is truly an experience.

I loved everything about staying here! We visited in the summer after the flood, so getting a hotel room was easy and the rates were lower than normal it seemed. You cannot beat the architecture, the quaintness, and the convenience of staying at this hotel. Though the old yellow hotel in the Presidential Suite was the best place we’ve ever stayed here in the park. We camped also. I had bear terrors all night. At Old Faithful I felt safe.
