“Not the biggest selection of food but still good enough. The service was a tad annoying because even though we were the first ones in line and the only ones there for a few minutes, we still had to go back and start an order on the screens. Seemed dumb and unnecessary.“

“We arrived without reservation at a busy time so after adding our name to the wait list we sat in the bar area. There we ordered lamb lollipops and charcuterie plate, both very good. Lamb was super tender with parsley-garlic topping. The drinks were also very well prepared. Our waiter there was fantastic, very attentive, helpful and polite. Unfortunately I did not catch his name. For the main dinner we had the wild mushroom pasta, the trout, bison ribs and sirloin steak. Pasta was very good, the roasted mushrooms added an excellent flavor; the trout was also very well done, fresh and perfectly prepared; the ribs were quite good, only the sirloin was not as good as hoped for. But the best was our waiter, Stefan, super friendly, attentive, and overall just a superb waiter. Excellent experience.“

“We booked a room with not toilet or shower. It's was a little awkward to use the showers as they were on a separate floor and the water pressure and temperature were a little off. You can't get a better location in the park. The dinning room food was poor but the service was good. The downside to staying in the park is that you don't have many options of where to eat.“

“Large open spacious dining room with views of Lake Yellowstone. Meal was exceptional. Great service. Had the Scallop + the shrimp on grits along with a bottle of California Sparkling. Dessert was a simple but delicious Basque Cake. Served with strawberries. Yum. Would definitely repeat.“

“I was really hungry after exploring the geysers and
was happy to find a nice
place to eat in the park.

I was seated after a short
wait and ordered a Bison
/Elk Burger and a Huckleberry
soda.

The menu has burgers, chili,
sandwiches like pulled pork,
nachos, soup, cheese fries,
and Huckleberry floats.

I received my order in about
ten minutes with no problems.

The Burger had a nice taste
to it, but the bun was not toasted.

I received a small amount of fries the were crispy and not
oversalted.

The Huckleberry soda had a
nice taste to it, and was not
too sweet.

“We read the reviews and knew there is limited seating. So we planned to buy the prepared wrapped sandwiches and sides in the morning, and carry them for our lunch after a walk on the nearby trails. The sandwiches were very good – they seemed fresh, had good flavor, and were at a reasonable cost. The staff was friendly, and the line moved quickly, so, based on our experience, we would rate the Bear Paw Deli highly as a source for prepared food. A reminder, though, to plan ahead for your seating, as there are only a few tables in the deli. If you park in the Old Faithful Inn lot, it’s only a short walk to your car.“

“We really enjoyed our experience here. After doing an early morning trip to the Lamar Valley, on our way back we stopped for breakfast at the Canyon Village Eatery.
There was a variety of items available for breakfast. There were quite a few folks already there for breakfast at around 8:30 AM. But we didn’t have to wait much.
The dining area is big and clean.
We ordered coffee, hot chocolate, French toast and bacon, biscuit gravy - sausage, and potatoes. It was delicious as we expected it to be.“
