Place was ok . Waitress very friendly, but she barely spoke english. So when the food came our orders where mixed up. Prices where a bit high, and food was not very flavorful. Don't expect to much when you come here. You will be disappointed.
If you go here, go to the back room. It is done up really well with stage coach tables circled around a campfire! Very well done! Food, not as good! I had Calamity Jane grilled chicken, sweet potato fries, slaw. The chicken was not barbecued, just steamed and served with sauce poured over. Husbands buffalo burger was underdone and he had to wait for about 5 minuted for waiter to bring the condiments. Outside looks uninviting, messy, unkept. But a local said they had good burgers...
My family and I have been coming to Yellowstone for 8 years now. Each year, we come to Buckaroo Bill's and each year we are not disappointed. The bison and elk burgers are on point and the ice cream is second to none. A great atmosphere in a covered wagon table rounds off a great experience!
