We ate here during our Yellowstone travels. We were looking for an epic place that represented the feel of Montana. As far as that is concerned, it was an atmosphere I was craving. That being said, the hostess was rather blunt and not very kind. The server was alright. The food was delicious and I was grateful for that. However, people's attitudes can really hinder the experience.

Fast friendly service. No tap beer though. Food really good with a different menu to the “usual” beige food. Baked cheesecake also very nice.

Waitress is great. Tried ribs and fried chicken. Ribs were better. Got a table easily on a Friday night. Menu is not very diverse but it’s good. It’s the first place we’ve tried in town. Prices are little high.

Flies were horrible inside the restaurant. Brought water no ice. Waitress was not friendly at all. Other waiter was loud and told the customers
At the next table that things are usually so f’d up.

We ordered take out dinner after arriving late into town. Everything was so great! We had the spinach and artichoke dip, wild mushroom pasta, and the house salad, and they were all great.

It was the off season when we showed up with a group of 12 from our conference. They were short staffed but they must have called in others. Others from our conference also showed up. This may overwhelm some places but Bullwinkles handled it stride. All our food came out quickly and was delicious. I loved the Bison short ribs! Everyone loved all all the meals!

We were there early, about 4:30 so there was so wait.
The mussels were terrible, or at least the tomato sauce they were bathed in was. They need a garlic white wine sauce instead, the tomato sauce was harsh.
The fried shrimp was good, my husband enjoyed the chili.
The huckleberry cheesecake was good.
The prices are high for the quality in my opinion, which means nothing.

Neat place in downtown Yellowstone. Restaurant one on end, liquor store in middle & small bar on the other end. It was pretty busy on a week night. Good burgers. Drink menu also. Employees were very sociable. Good amount of tables but they can fill up quick.

Parking: Most people walk. There are a few spots on the street.

I had the Roosevelt sandwich. I enjoyed it and the fries that came with it. There is a train running around the inside near the ceiling.
