Always the BEST time at Happy Hour!
Allison & the staff are amazing! The place is all cleaned up & looking great.
Crab legs, chicken pot pie, chicken sandwich, chili, etc… Everything was awesome!
We broke the trail in the ditch from the Marina down the road because we were unsure of the ice on the lake. We ended up rippin’ the lake back to town. (Plenty of ice)
Can’t wait to get back there in February for more good times! I 🩷 Happy Hour Bar!

Whether you’re here in the summer enjoying food and drinks outside on the porch, or riding your snowmobile across the lake in the winter for some warm food, it’s always a great time!

This place is a classic. We go here every single time we come to west Yellowstone. If you want to have an adventure, ride snowmobile across the lake if it’s frozen, and pull right up in their dock area. Great food, crab legs, wings great atmosphere homemade recipes. Allison the proprietor is killing it And is so very helpful and makes you feel so welcome. And even used her personal vehicle to pull my truck out out of the parking lot.👍🤣

My daughter and I enjoyed the food and drinks so much that we went back on our last night in town. Both nights were great! We even spent time outside on the swing taking pictures of the sunset.

We stopped for 1 drink to pass the time until the sun wasn’t shining in our eyes and ended up staying for a few drinks and dinner. We tried the Huckleberry Lemonade and Nachos (Not at the same time) which were both delicious.

Before booking our stay for a week at Yellowstone we found this place on the lake and decided for one night to stay across the street so we could enjoy dinner and drinks with the view of the water. The day we are supposed to go they change their days and hours. Earlier today it showed they were open and an hour before they were supposed to open it changes to fully closed. So disappointed to have an establishment do that when people try to plan their trip accordingly.

Best French dip I’ve ever had! They made the bread there and it was amazing! And the beef was flavorful and not full of fat. The staff was helpful and friendly. Fabulous place!

We stopped in on the way back from YNP to Ennis, because we were starving. We got the taco salad and the fish tacos. Both were excellent!! The ground beef in the taco salad was moist, hot, and seasoned nicely.

Mercer was our waiter and he was great! He joked with us a lot and checked on us a few times, even though he works behind the bar and we were sitting way out on the deck. The female bartender also checked on us and was the one that greeted us the second we walked in the door. She was great; really friendly and welcoming. Mercer told us a lot about the area and he had some great advice about the park because he used to work there. He talked with us a few times, listening to our stories. He was very friendly and funny, with a great personality and sense of humor.

The only thing we could’ve done without was the air horn blasts. So there are a couple air horns mounted on the outer wall, above the eating area on the deck. When a few people (at least one of them a local) came out to take pics, this really drunk older blonde chick kept blasting the air horns from inside. They are air horns for a boat, for crying out loud!! They are meant to be heard from a far distance. They are extremely loud at that close distance - PAINFULLY LOUD!!! Like, leave your ears ringing and hurting LOUD!! Why would a business owner mount air horns ten feet above their customers’ ears and allow a drunkass customer access to the trigger??!! I don’t care if she’s a local and does it all the time. And when the seated customers looked up at the bartenders’ window (pissed off) each time Miss Alcoholic blasted them, the bartenders would put their hands up and say they didn’t do it, she did it, and then point to the town drunk who was laughing and snorting while sloppily trying to suck more booze through her straw.

The food and the service are definitely worth stopping in for, but just make sure to sit inside. The deck has a nice view of the lake but one air horn blast will ruin that experience and leave your ears ringing for a few hours, never mind several blasts like we received. My advice - REMOVE THE DAMN AIR HORNS!!! They’re not funny, they’re not cute, and someone needs to report them before someone sues the owner for a heart attack or permanent hearing loss!!

Great food and great atmosphere. I was really impressed with the wait staff. They got slammed right as we got there and our waitress was very accommodating by letting us know how the kitchen was doing and taking our order at an opportune time. I saw the manager or owner walking around and checking on tables, which you don't see too much anymore.

Great job Happy Hour Bar! I will be back Saturday night!
